HAPPY FRIDAY to you and CHEERS from the Mexico Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase!
It’s always a FIESTA at this pavilion with no shortage of yummy bites and drinks for you to partake in!
While La Cava del Tequila will ALWAYS be #1 in our hearts, Choza de Margarita is an excellent option right on of the pavilion that offers a walk-up bar complete with delicious margaritas and some tasty snacks.
We’re back here today for the arrival of TWO new margaritas… because the only thing better than one margarita is TWO margaritas. DUH!
That’s right! Two new cocktails have made their way to the walk-up’s Signature Margaritas Menu.
Introducing the Spicy Blackberry Margarita and Smoky Pineapple Margarita.
The Spicy Blackberry Margarita features Mezcal Gracias a Dios blanco, lime juice, blackberry puree with a hint of jalapeño and a black ant salt rim.
Priced at $14.50, this was absolutely delicious and the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. Have no fear in regards to the ant salt rim, it legit JUST tastes like salt! (and you can always ask for regular salt if it creeps you out!)
The Smoky Pineapple Margarita features Mezcal ilegal blanco, pineapple-ginger juice, and Ancho Reyes Chile liqueur. Tajin Chile-lime powder adorns the rim.
Priced at $15.50, this one was a balancing act between the sweetness of the juice and the smokiness that the Chile liqueur provided. We thought the tajin power rim did a nice job of blending these two distinct flavors.
It’s another two winners for us from this outside stand churning out some pretty creative craft beverages.
Margaritas here tend to be quite boozy so we recommend washing them down with the stand’s delicious Empanada de Barbacoa.
Priced at $10.50, we love these two Barbacoa Beef Empanadas and side of Corn Esquites that make up a meal in themselves at a VERY reasonable price!
We’ll be back in this pavilion VERY soon when the Neil Patrick Harris NEW craft margarita lands inside at La Cava del Tequila next week!
