GOOD NEWS! Your young Padawans won’t be askin’, “Are we there yet?” once you finally land at the Orlando International Airport to begin your epic Disney World vacation!
Okay, maybe they still will, but hey, we think they’re gonna get a kick out of Orlando International Airport’s new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge decorations — and we bet you will too!
While many folks have already been putting up their Christmas decorations, Orlando International Airport has been busy decking its halls — with all things Star Wars!
We’re guessing the recent Star Wars additions are in large part due to the opening of its major headliner attraction, Rise of the Resistance, which is scheduled to debut December 5th — holy smokes, that came around FAST!
Although the rest of Hollywood Studios’ Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has been open since May, the new Star Wars Land has only had one ride to offer guests — Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run! But now that Rise of the Resistance is about to open its doors, well, let’s just say the Force has awoken ANEW for many Star Wars fans!
And we’re so happy that so many of the excited Star Wars fans who will be making the pilgrimage to see Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge this holiday season will be greeted by A TON of awesome Star Wars decor! There are lots of Star Wars-themed murals throughout the Orlando International Airport, along with wraps on the airport trams’ terminals and even some special photo ops with these cool-looking droids! Hey, wait! Is that our luggage?
We’re not sure how long these Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge decorations will be up at MCO, but we hope you get the chance to see them for yourself in person!
