We just can’t get enough of the festival eats in Disney California Adventure!

Festival of Holidays

We’re tasting alllllll the good meals and eats at Festival of Holidays in Disneyland so that you know what to look out for and there are a LOT of options! Besides the eight different Festival Marketplaces that are all serving up specific menus of holiday goodness, there’s also Festival specials at many quick-service spots. We took a trip over to Cocina Cucamonga to get our hands on the Pork Tamale and the Horchata Agua Fresca!

Cocina Cucamonga is a great quick-service spot in California Adventure for filling Mexican dishes and boy, do they have a hefty holiday special for Festival of Holidays this year! Check out this MASSIVE Pork Tamale plate.

Pork Tamale

This special is a HUGE meal-sized Pork Tamale complete with a hefty portion of cilantro lime rice and black beans! Now, when we say hefty we mean it so if you need a big meal on your day in the park this is an awesome option. The tamale is stuffed with tender pork and has a lot of great flavor without being too spicy.

You can pick up this meal for $12.99 at Cocina Cucamonga or if you want a taste of this meal without the full stomach, it is eligible for Sip & Savor! If you don’t know, Sip & Savor is a $54 pass that is redeemable for some items at Festival locations. Sip & Savor customers can enjoy a tasting portion of this limited-time tamale.

If you’re more interested in saving room for the more Christmas-y offerings at some of the Festival Marketplaces, there’s still a fun Festival special at the Cocina that won’t fill you up too much! Grab the super refreshing Horchata Agua Fresca! This milk-based drink is just the right amount of sweet with a nice taste of cinnamon — if you love horchata (like we do) you don’t want to miss this!
