is only four weeks away, and we are more than excited for the news each panel is going to unveil!
We’re also anticipating the growing list of Disney stars making appearances throughout the weekend. While we’ve told you about Disney Animation, Disney on Broadway, and other celebrity guests popping in, now we’re here to tell you about the ABC television personalities we can expect to see at this year’s Expo!
On Friday, August 23rd in the D23 Expo Arena, numerous celebrities from ABC shows will be appearing to give behind-the-scenes looks into their series. The shows included are Dancing with the Stars, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., black-ish, grown-ish, and mixed-ish.
During the Dancing with the Stars panel, Good Morning America‘s Ginger Zee will give a sneak peek into the show’s Disney Night! Show host Tom Bergeron, judge Carrie Ann Inaba, executive producer Andrew Llinares, and Mirrorball champions Rashad Jennings and Jordan Fisher will be in attendance to talk about the behind-the-scenes action and the fall 2019 Dancing with the Stars season.
While we know about the new Marvel shows coming to the Disney+ streaming service, the Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. panel will discuss the show’s past six seasons and the upcoming conclusion of the series, which is slated for summer 2020. Jeph Loeb, executive producer and head of Marvel Television, will host the event and cast members like Ming-Na Wen, Clark Gregg, Elizabeth Henstridge, Chloe Bennet, Jeff Ward, and Henry Simmons will be there to answer questions about the show. Executive producers Maurissa Tancharoen, Jed Whedon, and Jeff Bell will be in attendance as well.
If you’re already feeling excited-ish about the ABC panels, you’ll be thrilled to know that there is an “ish” Universe panel discussing the shows black-ish, grown-ish, and mixed-ish. Though the official lineup hasn’t been announced yet, stars like Tracee Ellis Ross, Anthony Anderson, Tika Sumpter, and Yara Shahidi will be chatting about everything happening in the “ish” universe and what might be coming to the series.
