REVIEW: Fourth of July Cupcake at Restaurantosaurus in Animal Kingdom

It’s officially the week of the Fourth of July!

And Disney World is celebrating with patriotic treats like the Fourth of July Cupcake from All Star Music and the new cupcake we spotted today at Restaurantosaurus in Animal Kingdom.

You can’t celebrate the Fourth of July without apple pie, right? Well, those of you visiting Disney World within the next few days won’t have to — because this new cupcake has got ya covered!!

The new Fourth of July cupcake is a yellow cake with apple pie filling. It’s topped with blue and white buttercream and red-sprinkled chocolate fireworks.

The amount of filling seems to vary as the first cupcake we ordered was literally OVERFLOWING with apple pie goodness and the second cupcake we ordered had very little filling. When it came to the filling itself, it had a nice flavor and consistency. We also loved that the filling was cold since it’s so stinkin’ hot outside!

Other than the filling, this was just a standard yummy Disney cupcake. You can find it at Restaurantosaurus for $5.99 before tax. It’s also available as a snack credit option if you’re on the Disney Dining Plan.
