Halloween is only 5 short months away, and that means Disney is filling us in on the plans pertaining to the spooks that will take place this fall.
Halloween in Disneyland
Today, we found out that Disneyland’s Halloween season and Oogie Boogie Bash would take place between September 1st and October 31st, 2023. Along with the Halloween season will come a special fireworks show, “Halloween Screams,” but that means the current show will be taking a break for a while.
New merchandise, 100th Anniversary crowds, special food and collectibles, and SO MUCH MORE — if you haven’t been to Disneyland lately, there’s a lot of info to catch up on.

Wondrous Journeys is a new nighttime spectacular that will premiere in Disneyland on January 27th, 2023. We’ve already learned quite a bit about Wondrous Journeys — for example, we know that the Sleeping Beauty Castle will be transformed into Casa Madrigal from Disney’s Encanto during one segment! And who knows how to throw a party better than Disney? The celebrations are gearing up and we’ve already seen a few sneak peeks and heard details about what we can expect from the festivities. That is — obviously — a cause for celebration, and Disney has BIG plans to throw a big party starting in Disneyland! Sleeping Beauty Castle will get a 100th anniversary makeover AND TWO new nighttime shows are coming to the parks.
