Disneyland Resort has made a lot of changes recently.
Since reopening in Spring of 2021, many things have returned, like fireworks, holiday events, and more. Disneyland also introduced a brand new Annual Passholder program called Magic Key. And now, Disneyland has made some big changes when it comes to theme park pricing.
Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration is now in full swing, and this event will last a whopping 18 months.
Disney has changed a lot for the 50th anniversary, including new fireworks shows, new nighttime Disney Park icon lighting, and LOTS of new merchandise. They’re also making a big change to a smaller Disney World item, and it may be your new favorite Disney souvenir.
Raise your hand if you’re already thinking about the holiday season!
If you are, don’t worry, Disney is too! They’ve revealed celebrations for Disney World and today, they announced the new After Hours event coming to Disneyland Park — Merriest Nites. And now, we’ve got pricing and dates for this special offering!
Want to get the inside scoop on what NEW movies will be released by Star Wars, Marvel, Disney, and Pixar? Ready to get some HUGE news about upcoming Disney parks projects? Want to do some serious shopping, meet Disney stars, and more?
Then you’ll want to stop by the D23 Expo — The Ultimate Disney Fan Event! The next D23 Expo will be held in Anaheim, California on September 9th through the 11th, 2022. To attend this fan event, you’ll need to grab tickets and now we know just when those tickets will go on sale!

Yesterday (September 8th) Disney World Annual Passes became available for purchase once again, under Disney’s new Annual Pass program.
One of the things you’re now able to do (if you want to) is upgrade your regular park tickets to an Annual Pass. By upgrading, you can apply the entire price you paid for your tickets into a select Annual Pass. But, before you do so, there’s a BIG thing you need to know about when it comes to Park Passes.
Annual Passes at Disney World haven’t been sold since the parks closed in March of 2020, except in very specific cases.

Walt Disney World Annual Passholder
Disney announced at the beginning of the month that Annual Passes WOULD return before the start of the 50th-anniversary celebration! Well, now it’s time to mark your calendars! Disney World Annual Passes will go on sale again on September 8th! And we have ALL the details.
We know, we know — when it comes to reporting on prices, most of the time, we have to announce that Disney has raised prices on things. And believe us — we’re not big fans of price hikes either.

Wishables saw a recent price hike.
From price increases at our favorite snack spots (Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie, we’re looking at you) to our favorite restaurants (hello, Chefs de France [seriously, what’s up with France RN!]) to Wishables to Spirit Jerseys to masks, it seems like everything at Disney World is starting to cost more. So we have to ask the question — has Disney ever REDUCED prices? And well, you what? It has!
If you’re not a fan of change, buckle up! BIG things have changed or will be changing soon in Disney World.
Paid FastPass+ replacement systems (Genie+ and Individual Attraction Selection) have debuted, the parks are celebrating the Resort’s 50th Anniversary, the Magical Express service has ended, and more. And with some of those changes come additional costs that you’ll need to factor into your trip. So, just what could it cost a family to “do” Disney World in 2022 in light of these changes. We’re breaking down what you need to know right here.
