Something new has arrived at Pandora.

While often it’s the big changes at Disney Parks that garner the most attention. However, it’s the smaller, on the surface inconsequential changes that often define the Disney experience, even if guests don’t realize it. Recently we noticed one of these tiny changes at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Look at this photo. It’s perfect. The greenery is stunning. The foliage is fantastic. The floating mountains are monumental. Disney did something RIGHT when they built Pandora in Disney’s Animal Kingdom — that’s for sure.

We’ve been taking in the sights, sounds, and even smells of this land ever since it opened, so we know a thing or two about the land and everything inside it. That’s why we were especially perplexed by this WEIRD new addition at Pandora. We need to talk about it.

D23 2024: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event is nearly here and with it comes some exciting deals!

The D23 Disney fan expo is headed to Anaheim from August 9th to August 11th, 2024 and we can’t wait for what’s in store. From entertainment announcements to the reveal of new theme park improvements, we’re on the edge of our seats waiting to see Disney’s future plans. If you’re in town visiting the Disneyland Resort for the event, not only will you be treated to first looks, but you’ll also get some pretty sweet perks!
For months now, Disney has been talking about expanding Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Dinoland U.S.A.
In particular, the talks have been about demolishing Dinoland U.S.A., a usually empty part of Animal Kingdom currently (with the exception of the Dinosaur attraction), and turning it into the Tropical Americas. However, very little has been announced about WHEN this change is expected to take place. Looking back at Disney World’s past park expansions, here’s when we may expect to see it take place, from start to finish.

Ready to celebrate 90 years of Donald Duck?
We recently got a new Donald Duck popcorn bucket at both Disney Springs and Disneyland, but it looks like Disney isn’t content on stopping there when it comes to souvenirs of our favorite cartoon duck! With the 90-year milestone of Donald Duck coming up in June, fans of Donald will be able to purchase new offerings from top brands that celebrate the special occasion.

As we say, food is a theme park! From beloved dining spots like ‘Ohana and favorite snacks like corn dog nuggets with plastic cheese from Casey’s Corner, many Disney World foodies can get behind loving these iconic places to eat, but there are some meals that fans can’t stop fighting about. Some snacks and meals are not everyone’s cup of tea, and Disney World has some questionable items on some of their menus.
Earlier this week, Disney shared some very exciting news about the future of the Disney parks.

During the 2024 Shareholders Meeting, Disney talked a bit more about the potential expansions coming to their U.S. parks. We’d heard whispers of some of it before, but then they surprised us with concept art of the new Pandora land they’re looking to create in Disneyland Resort! But did you catch all these details inside the art?
Plans are in the works for expansions at the Disneyland Resort, and that could potentially include a new Avatar-themed land!
Pandora: World of Avatar
During the initial reveal, Iger shared, “We have one Avatar-based land, Pandora, in Florida. We’re going to put a second one in California.” A land similar to what was created in Disney’s Animal Kingdom park in Disney World could make its way to California — and we’ve officially got our first idea of what it could look like!
