The sequel to the popular film made its way onto Disney’s streaming service on March 12th, 2025, just over three months after the film debuted in theaters on November 27th, 2024. The film saw great success during its theatrical run and is doing just as well over on Disney+!

Even though the EPCOT Festival of the Arts is still going strong until February 24th, we can’t help but look forward to the next EPCOT festival, the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival.
Flower and Garden Festival 2024
The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival officially kicks off on March 5th and runs through June 2nd, 2025. The festival features lots of gorgeous flowers, topiaries, and gardens, plus there is also plenty of food, drinks, merchandise, and entertainment!
We’re already getting ready to say goodbye to January of 2025, but some of us are still struggling to remember to write that it’s 2025 instead of 2024.

You could say that we’re stuck in 2024, in some ways, and that’s especially true now that we just saw the list come out for which TV series and movies were streamed the most for the WHOLE year! It may not surprise you to hear that Disney landed on top of both lists, but what programs hit the number one spot may come as a surprise.
Moana has become a BIG property for Disney. Not only was the first Moana movie a smash hit, but the second movie recently premiered and has broken a lot of box office records.

We’ve met Moana in the parks. She’s even got her own attraction in EPCOT, Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana. There’s a brand new Moana show on Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, the Disney Treasure. Moana is EVERYWHERE. However, one animator is now saying that Moana and her story were stolen from his original idea and has filed a lawsuit against Disney, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Often, Disney’s animated musical films have songs that end up on the cutting room floor for one reason or another. Some of these songs aren’t seen as “up to snuff” compared to the others written for the film, while others are just as good as the songs that become classics but are cut for time or plot reasons, only to be resurrected in later versions. For example, “Proud of Your Boy” and “Human Again” were cut from Aladdin and Beauty & The Beast respectively, but both songs were restored for their respective Broadway interpretations and various special soundtrack and home media releases. Now, a mostly unheard Moana song has found a second life in an unexpected place.
