Disney’s finally giving us more details about the upcoming “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” show coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this year!

News first broke about this revamped show back in 2023, and we’ve been waiting on the edge of our seats (mostly in suspense) since then. While we’ve already seen a few updates like casting calls for its main characters and scouted out a permit for a change to the sign on the outside of the theater, there hasn’t been much talk about this show since. However, when Disney was recently teasing its recent and upcoming changes around Disney World on GMA, this was one topic about which they were spilling some exciting new details.

In December 2023, we heard that Disney was permanently closing the Voyage of the Little Mermaid at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

However, Disney announced that the show was going to be closing permanently to make way for something brand new — “The Little Mermaid — A Musical Adventure”.
