EPCOT is home to many incredible snacks, and now there’s ANOTHER ONE to add to the list!

Over in the Japan Pavilion, you’ll find Kabuki Cafe, which is a small stand that serves up shave ice and other special treats. We heard about a new special treat that just landed on the menu, combining two of our favorite treats, so we knew we had to try it. As it turns out, this new treat is everything we didn’t know we’d been waiting for!

For Cool Kid Summer, Disney World’s character-filled event running till September 1, Goofy has rethemed CommuniCore Hall to GoofyCore. He’s brought in games, DJs, entertainment Cast Members, and, of course, himself to play with guests of all ages. Now he’s taken over a whole food booth, so let’s see what he’s serving up.
We thought the month of February was supposed to bring us joy and love, at the very least sweets and chocolate, but for fans of Karamell-Küche in EPCOT, be prepared to be filled with sadness.

Don’t worry — the store itself isn’t going anywhere! We have some favorite treats that we LOVE to get here, and we also recommend that YOU to grab them while you’re on vacation, but we’ve just found out that one of our favorite snacks has disappeared again…and we’re pretty sad about it.
The Disney Dining Plan is a fantastic resource for many families and Disney World visitors who have done the math and know that they’ll get tons of use out of pre-paying for your food ahead of time.
Look for the purple “DDP Snack Credit logo” on price signage and menus!
The largest amount of credits you get to use are snack credits, which can be used at a majority of snack carts and restaurants around the parks. In fact, the VAST majority of Disney World restaurants and carts have eligible snacks, but not EVERY snack on the menu will be eligible, if that makes sense. When you arrive you will be able to see what is eligible based on the DDP icon on the menu next to the item you’re looking at. You want to make sure you’re making the MOST of your snack credits, so here are the ones we recommend — not only are they delicious, but they cost more than the average snack, but they’re all equal under the DDP, so it’s a steal!

Every World Showcase pavilion has cultural snack options, each world in the park has restaurants and snack stands, and then, of course, there are the seasonal festivals that we love SO much. All throughout the year, you can try new snacks or grab your favorite go-to in EPCOT. Since the snack options vary so much and change all throughout the year, there’s always a chance that some aren’t going to be great. We asked our readers what the worst snack was that they’ve had in EPCOT, and we can’t necessarily disagree with the answer.

And when there’s a festival going on, like how EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival is happening right now? Oh, there are so many fantastic options. But we have to say — we recommend this one snack above almost all others because it NEVER disappoints us.

The Pretzel Bread Pudding from Germany, the School Bread from Norway (that one’s a little controversial if you don’t like coconut), and The Croque Glaces from France — the list seriously goes on and on. We’re suckers for all the food EPCOT has to offer, but we just recently found out that there’s a SECRET menu item at one of our favorite spots that everyone, especially those with allergies, NEED to know about!

There are some pretty great table-service restaurants to check out, but we also love the different quick-service locations. One of our absolute favorites for sweets is Karamell-Küche located in the Germany Pavilion. Specifically, if you’re a big fan of caramel and chocolate, this is one snack you NEED to grab ASAP!
