EPCOT has some big things going on!

Test Track is about to reopen (finally!), the Food and Wine Festival is coming up soon, and one of our favorite spots just got a brand new snack. We’re hungry from this big trek around the World Showcase, so let’s check this newbie out!

If you’ve been around DFB for a while, you’ve definitely heard us talk about Regal Eagle Smokehouse! This Muppet-themed quick service offers up barbecue, craft brews, and more. We have been obsessed with it since it first opened in 2020.

Recently, this spot added the new Brewmaster Fries for $6.49! These fries are seasoned with a beer cheese sauce poured across the top. We are literally drooling at the thought of this, but how do they hold up?

Our first thought was that these are on the smaller side and will operate better as a single-serving snack. The size is great for one person, and we wouldn’t consider it shareable.

A closer look!

The beer cheese on top is the same beer cheese that’s served with the pretzel bites over at Block and Hans, and the barbecue rub is the same that always comes on the fries. There was a great balance of cheese and carbs to help you soak up some alcohol if you’ve been drinking around the world! 

Gosh, these are making us hungry!

The cheese has a really great flavor, but you can’t tell what kind of beer is in it. It has a sharp tang to it, which we love. It has the perfect amount of spice and salt, plus the creamy cheese to make this a more exciting dish than your typical side of fries. While we do think these fries might be more of a $5 portion size, we don’t think you’re going to regret grabbing them! 

We need a bit more cheese!

We mobile ordered these fries, but in the future, we might go order them at the counter so we can try to grab a side of extra cheese to help make it even cheesier! These are a great snack that we will happily get again and again. If you’re looking for a heavier meal, you can always check to see if the burnt end fries are available that day! The burnt end fries aren’t always available and can’t be found on the menu, but you can check the order kiosk to see if they’re available for the day.
