A NEW Disney Villain Is Coming to Galaxy’s Edge

Disneyland’s Star Wars area is getting a massive upgrade! Galaxy’s Edge is a Star Wars-themed land on both the East and West Coasts, and they’ve been very similar. You’ll explore Black Spire Outpost on the planet of Batuu that the First Order has overtaken. You can meet Kylo Ren and his Stormtroopers, ride the Millennium Falcon with Chewbacca, and help Finn, Rey, and the Rebel Alliance take down the First Order. Both lands have been set during the sequel trilogy – until now!

Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge

While Galaxy’s Edge in Disney World will stay the same, the West Coast’s Disneyland area will be completely rethemed to be set during the original trilogy. This means new characters from “A New Hope,” “The Empire Strikes Back,” and “Return of the Jedi” will be roaming around the park. But how will these changes impact the characters currently in Galaxy’s Edge?

Beginning April 29, 2026, visitors to Batuu may find Darth Vader inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland park in Anaheim, Calif., as the land expands its timeline to include more Star Wars eras. Since Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened on May 31st, 2019, at Disneyland Resort, we’ve been exploring the entirely original planet of Batuu. Disney Needs New Visa Cardholder Perks

Major changes are coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, with the construction of Monsters, Inc. land, the transition of the Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster to a Muppet theme, and the transformation of Star Wars Launch Bay into a new version of the Magic of Disney Animation, all changing the face of the park forever.
