Here at DFB, it’s no secret that we love a good Disney breakfast, whether that meal is on the go or a sit-down experience with a full menu and our favorite characters. And recently, we got the chance to stop by Cape May Cafe for breakfast, where the buffet service has just returned!
We’ve seen a lot of changes in the Disney World restaurants since the parks and resorts first reopened in the summer of 2020.

Although dining already returned to Magic Kingdom’s Crystal Palace in December of 2020, the buffet had yet to reopen. After several other buffets have reopened in Disney World, such as Boma in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and Biergarten in EPCOT, it’s now Crystal Palace’s turn!

After Disney World’s reopening, Biergarten switched to a family-style all-you-can-eat menu, and we’ll have to admit, while many of the foods were the same as at the previous buffet, the family-style presentation was wonderful. But now that it’s reverted to a buffet, so how does it fare? Well, let’s find out.
Character dining has been making a big return around the Disney Parks as of late, even if the experiences look a little (OK, a LOT) different!

While Disney World has seen quite a few locations bring back modified character dining, now select Disneyland restaurants are finally re-introducing it as well!
