Yes, we absolutely love Disney Parks, and we’ve been known to run through Universal Studios with our wands in hand. While we’re generally here for the food, we just love theme parks in general and keep our eyes on other parks throughout the country, including Six Flags.

According to Business Wire, Six Flags Entertainment Corporation has officially sold six of its U.S. parks to EPR Properties.
Since 2009, the DFB team and I have been eating and reviewing Disney food for this channel, and TODAY I’m finally ready to answer an important question that’s been the elephant in the room for all of us…

V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days are coming back to the resort, and we couldn’t be more excited! These days include special merchandise, snacks, and (of course) discounts. As these fun days are getting closer, we finally have more details on how you can save big when dining this summer.
The Disney Skyliner has fans. A lot of them. And honestly, we get it. It’s fast, it’s pretty, it feels a little bit like your transportation got upgraded from “theme park bus” to “European vacation fever dream,” and it connects EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios with Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and Disney’s Riviera Resort. These days, it generally starts running one hour before Early Theme Park Entry at EPCOT or Hollywood Studios and usually keeps going until 90 minutes after those parks close.
Who’s up for a ride on the Skyliner?
But here’s the bad news: the Skyliner is not some flawless floating chariot sent from the heavens to fix all your Disney transportation problems. It is still public transportation. Public transportation that happens to dangle in the sky. And that means it comes with a few very real headaches you should know about before you build your whole vacation strategy around it.

This is one of Disney World’s most popular parks because it’s home to big thrills and fan-favorite IPs like Toy Story and Star Wars. I’ve been going to Disney World for decades, and I LOVE Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, but there are a few reasons to avoid it in 2026.
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
This resort seems to have been plagued by years of construction. When the Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows opened in December 2024, we thought that might have been the last we saw of construction. However, that has not been the case. In 2025, construction continued here, and as of 2026, guests can still be affected by work.
At heart, we are collectors. We love trying to get every mystery pin in a box or a new popcorn bucket as soon as it drops. Disney just released new popcorn buckets, sippers, and more for one of the best days of the year: Star Wars Day on May 4th.
