EPCOT is certainly a fan-favorite Disney World park, and for good reasons.

You can be a “world traveler” around World Showcase, stopping at each of the 11 countries to experience their cultures through food, art, architecture, and more. You can also travel through space on Mission: SPACE or Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Or experience both the Land and Sea at the pavilions. There’s a wide variety of things to do and learn at EPCOT. But soon, EPCOT will look totally different than it does right now!

Welcome to 2025, DFB Readers! Now, we’re all about getting the New Year off to an active start, but we’re also thinking this weekend might be a good time to just stay at home in our jammies and watch TV.

Why? Well, there are plenty of things to watch right now on all our favorite streaming subscription services like Netflix, Disney+ (of course!), Hulu, and more. However, you might want to put another streaming service on your list for this weekend, because it’s FREE. Yep, time to binge-watch even MORE awesome TV shows and movies because Apple TV+ is free this weekend.
Disney giveth and Disney taketh away. And sometimes, Disney giveth again.

Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge is the newest hotel being built near Magic Kingdom, and it’s been a long time coming. Originally, Disney announced a hotel called Reflections: A Lakeside Lodge for this space — and then never talked about it again. But, Lakeshore Lodge is the new hotness that will be opening at Disney World in 2027 and we’ve got a new aerial look at the progress!
Three words: Mini. Mango. Pie. Trust us — it’s AMAZING! But that’s not all that the Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes restaurant has to offer. This place has some great quick-service snacks, like Crispy Pork Pot Stickers and even an American Kobe Cheeseburger!
So. Good.
So, why are we talking about this hidden gem at Disney’s Animal Kingdom? Well, we have an important update — especially if you were planning to take advantage of an old perk at this restaurant.
