There have been several random dates in 2024 that have held significant meaning for Disney (and we’re still only in January!).

January 9th marked the change to Disney World’s park pass reservation system, the Disney Dining Plan’s return, and all-day park hopping. January 11th brought Annual Passholders “Good-to-Go” days. And now, we’re here to tell you why you may want to mark your calendar for February 8th!

Tokyo DisneySea has been creating the most wonderful place for you and your imagination. Fantasy Springs will be an all-new port at the park that packs wonder and dreams. You’ll be able to soar off with Peter Pan, visit Elsa’s Ice Castle, and play in the woods with Rapunzel. Fantasy Springs opens on June 6th of this year but you can begin planning your stay now!

Tokyo DisneySea is primed for a big year in 2024 with the completion of its new Fantasy Springs expansion and the introduction of a new festival, but the fun doesn’t stop there. This week, it was also announced that the Japanese Disney Park would also get a massive update to one of its most iconic rides — Tower of Terror!

We know 2023 is not over yet, and we still have some big things to look forward to before the year ends — but it doesn’t hurt to look forward to what 2024 is going to bring. Back in October, Disney announced the opening date for the newest port coming to Tokyo DisneySea, Fantasy Springs. This new land expansion will bring three new themed lands to DisneySea for guests to explore: Frozen Kingdom, Rapunzel’s Forest, and Peter Pan’s Neverland. Disney has confirmed a few things about the new port, Fantasy Springs, but there is still a lot that we will have to wait to discover. Fantasy Springs will open on June 6th, 2024 and we’re very eager to explore it! Since we’re like kids, on a road trip to Disney World, who just can’t wait til we get there, we’ve taken a deep dive into the concept art to pick out what we think might be coming!

Disney announced back in October that Fantasy Springs would be opening on June 6th, 2024. So today, December 6th, 2023 marks the 6 month mark until it officially opens! And now Disney has shared a little peek at the progress of one of its lands.
