Two Shops in EPCOT’s Italy Pavilion Could Possibly Reopen This Weekend!

Lately, we’ve seen many previously closed locations in Disney World start to reopen!

Kringla Bakeri og Kafe in the Norway Pavilion and Sommerfest in the Germany Pavilion of EPCOT have both now opened up full time. We visited Harambe Market in Disney’s Animal Kingdom this past weekend for it’s reopening, and ABC Commissary has come back to Hollywood Studios with an improved menu! Now, we’re also seeing gift shops returning to operation, and it seems that two stores in EPCOT’s Italy pavilion may be reopening this weekend!

Photos! The JAMMitors Have Moved Locations in EPCOT!

Live entertainment is a huge part of the Walt Disney World experience!

We’ve definitely missed some of our favorite stage shows the past few months (Come back to us, Festival of the Lion King!), but we’re thankful for the entertainment that we do have in the parks right now! Mariachi Cobre and the JAMMitors have been performing during the Food & Wine Festival, we’re getting lots of great entertainment options for the Festival of the Holidays, and For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration reopened just last month.  To prepare for the plethora of holiday entertainment coming to EPCOT, the JAMMitors have moved to a new location in the park, and we spotted them performing there today!

Nothing says “it’s the holidays in Walt Disney World” like a GIGANTIC Christmas tree!

Disney LOVES to put big trees up all over the place! We’ve seen them at all four parks (Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom), as well as several resorts (Grand FloridianandWilderness Lodge both have huge ones). Now, a very ICONIC giant Christmas tree has returned to Walt Disney World — the Contemporary Resort tree!

NEWS! Kali River Rapids in Disney World Possibly Temporarily Closing Soon!

There are currently several Walt Disney World attractions under refurbishment!

The Walt Disney World Railroad has been down for a good while now due to construction with the TRON coaster, we recently saw the Rivers of America get drained for a refurbishment on the Liberty Square Riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island, and don’t even get us started on the PeopleMover! The slow-moving ride through Tomorrowland never reopened with Magic Kingdom, and we keep seeing the refurbishment end date getting pushed back. Now, we may soon be adding another ride to the list — Kali River Rapids in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Christmas Has Arrived at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn!

It’s been a busy week for the Walt Disney World Resorts, as many of them are getting decked out for the holidays!

We’ve seen decorations pop up at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, and Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, to name just a few! Even though there aren’t any humongous gingerbread displays this year, Disney has still been very detailed and very over-the-top with their Christmas decor. (I mean, would ya look at the size of that Christmas tree?!) Now, yet another resort has received a festive makeover — Disney’s BoardWalk Inn!

Hurry! There Are Autographed Ahsoka Tano Lightsabers Available NOW in Disney Springs!

If you’re a fan of Star Wars TV shows, then you know that Ahsoka Tano has some of the coolest lightsabers out there!

First of all, she wields TWO lightsabers instead of just one (known as Jar’Kai in the Star Wars universe), and it’s not a skill that we often see utilized. On top of that, her lightsaber color changes multiple times as a character, going from blue to green to white. Disney’s definitely capitalized on this, selling both color-changing Ahsoka lightsabers, and the white versions! You can even get her lightsabers outside of the Disney parks, and today there are a limited number of sabers autographed by Ahsoka Tano herself!

Even though there won’t be any massive gingerbread displays in the resorts this year, we have seen some very intricate, smaller creations, like a gingerbread/chocolate sculpture at Disney’s Grand Floridian and a gingerbread model of the Contemporary Resort. We’ll also be on the lookout for a gingerbread display to appear at EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays! We previously noticed that the iconic beams had been removed from the Great Ceremonial House to make way for new designs on the roof. The façade of the hotel is getting a full-scale makeover, and we’re starting to see more of the new elements getting installed!
