In our experience, a lot of Disney Adults have dreamed of getting “stuck” in Disney World. You’d never have to leave! You could keep eating those incredible snacks and meals! Stardust Racers is going to reopen after a guest died on the attraction on September 17th, 2025.
Stardust Racers
According to The Orlando Sentinel, the Epic Universe coaster plans to reopen on Saturday, October 4th, 2025, for the first time since the death of Kevin Rodriguez Zavala last month. Changes are coming to the attraction, which will now require wheelchair users to be able to walk independently to the ride, and Team Members will no longer be able to assist them on the attraction.

Disney’s current CEO, Bob Iger, has confirmed he will be stepping down from the position in 2026. The hunt for the next leader of the company has been “robust” with a few names leading the pack. As the time for the announcement draws closer, it seems like the search might be down to two names.
