A while back, we learned that Disney was building a new World of Frozen land similar to the ones in Hong Kong Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.
This new World of Frozen land will open in Disneyland Paris along with the rebranding of the park Walt Disney Studios to Disney Adventure Park. The park is being updated to include new themed lands around Adventure Bay, which will act as a “unique entertainment stage with a 360-degree viewing area” with new water-based entertainment. So when can you expect to enjoy the brand-new Frozen attractions? We recently found out!
Disney recently hosted the Destination D23 event at Disney World. Here we got a glimpse into the company with new announcements such as new movies. One of the big announcements was a more precise timeline for the opening of the new World of Frozen land at Disneyland Paris and its attractions.
The new land will feature at least two attractions (Disney may announce more, but for now we know of at least two opening). Frozen Ever After, similar to the current ride in EPCOT, and a meet and greet with Anna and Elsa inside Elsa’s Ice Castle will open along with shopping and dining options.
Previously, Disney had shared that the new land would open sometime in 2026. But in August 2025, during the Destination D23 event in Disney World, the company shared that it will open specifically in “Spring 2026!” That’s SO soon!
We’re expecting this new land to be just as immersive and beautiful as the two other variations of it in Hong Kong and Tokyo. Disney has recently shared a video of the ice castle getting built, and it is stunning.
Walt Disney Imagineering also gave a glimpse into the new Frozen Ever After ride as they went through an honored tradition set by Walt Disney.
It’s looking to be an exciting 2026 for Disneyland Paris and the Walt Disney Company. We can’t wait to experience this new land and updated park!
