As 2025 turned the page to 2026, American travelers — including those heading to Walt Disney World — caught a break at the pump.
According to AAA, the national average gas price dropped more than 4 cents in the final week of 2025, falling to $2.89. The group says this is the cheapest December at the pump since the end of 2020.

On January 26th, EPCOT’s mega-popular Frozen Ever After attraction is set to close for a comparatively quick refurbishment that is scheduled to make major changes to the attraction’s original animatronics.

Right now, Disney is offering their Water Park Season Pass for $89 plus tax (ages 10 and up) and $83 plus tax (ages 3 to 9). These passes offer admission to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park OR Disney’s Blizzard Beach, as the former will be open through February 14th and then close for refurbishment, while the latter will open on February 15th. When it comes to Lightning Lane Multi Passes at the Magic Kingdom, not all demand is created equal.
Disney’s current “skip-the-line” system, Lightning Lane Multi Pass, was introduced in 2024. The system, which allows guests to plan ahead of their visit and choose up to 3 Multi Pass experiences and arrival windows in a theme park (7 days in advance of their stay for Disney hotel guests and 3 days in advance for non-hotel guests), is currently available for 18 attractions at Walt Disney World’s original theme park.
