Listen, guys, it’s literally our JOB to eat snacks in Disney World. And yes, that means we’ve probably eaten a lifetime’s worth of DOLE Whip.
We’ve tried EVERY SINGLE DOLE Whip flavor in Disney World, and we have some strong opinions about them. Since this is probably one of the most popular snacks across property (if not the most popular one), we’ve decided to share our rankings. Go forth and enjoy some soft serve, folks!
10. Lemon
Unfortunately, someone has to be at the bottom of the list. For us, and for some other folks we know, that’s the DOLE Whip Lemon! This is still a very delicious flavor of DOLE Whip, but it’s not quite as interesting as some of the other options on this list.
It’s tart and bright in flavor, and these days, you can find it at Storybook Treats as part of the Rapunzel Sundae. It’s also a common flavor that shows up on the menu at Pineapple Lanai at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. We generally think lemon is best served swirled with another DOLE Whip flavor to make a fun combo.
9. Coconut Soft Serve*
Okay, coconut soft serve is not technically DOLE Whip because it’s made with dairy. But, considering it has been a longstanding option at Aloha Isle and it has a strong fan base, we’ll include it in the list. It has a creamier texture than the other flavors since it has different ingredients, but if you love coconut, that tropical sweetness comes through STRONG.
It pairs deliciously with Pineapple DOLE Whip, and it’s a good addition to floats, but on its own, it can be a bit too sweet sometimes. We often find ourselves struggling a bit more to finish an entire cup.
8. Watermelon
We begged for Watermelon DOLE Whip for YEARS and finally got it a while back in Disney World, as part of some seasonal (and short-lived) treats. This one will roll back around from time to time at Swirls on the Water in Disney Springs, or we’ll see it pop up at an EPCOT festival or Disney water park.
We find this flavor to be quite refreshing and great for a hot summer day. It often comes with unique treats — we once saw it served between slices of watermelon, and we’ve seen it topped with chamoy. However, it can be a bit divisive because some folks find the taste to be a little too artificial.
7. Orange
Ahh, Orange DOLE Whip, a classic. This is one of the mainstays in Disney World that’s available at Sunshine Tree Terrace in Magic Kingdom. We would honestly rate it higher, except it reminds us of the loss of the beloved Citrus Swirl, and that makes us sad.
It’s best served swirled with vanilla ice cream to create a creamsicle-like effect, but it can be a bit overwhelming of a flavor to eat entirely on its own. However, it really hits that authentic fruity note, so if you’re craving a true fruity DOLE Whip, this is a great choice.
6. Peach/Mango
Peach and Mango DOLE Whips are two flavors we’ve seen very rarely. Mango is a little bit more common, but we only saw peach for the first time in Disney World in 2026. You’ll most often find these flavors available for a limited time at an EPCOT festival, namely, the Flower & Garden Festival.
There tends to be a lot of crossovers with fans of peach and mango flavors, as they’re both summery, with a good combination of tangy and sweet. They’re SO delicious, but since we can’t get them all the time in the parks, they rank toward the middle.
5. Strawberry
We’ve made it to the top five, where one of the fan favorites lives — Strawberry DOLE Whip! This is a mainstay of Sunshine Tree Terrace alongside the Orange DOLE Whip, and it’s the definition of “safe bet” when it comes to DOLE Whip flavors.
It tends to be a favorite of kids and adults alike, and it pairs particularly well with Fanta for a fun float. We often see it used in Valentine’s Day treats. Maybe not your favorite flavor (it’s a bit more on the artificial side), but beloved, nonetheless.
4. Cherry
We had a hard time rating the next four flavors because we love them all, but we settled on Cherry DOLE Whip in the fourth spot. This reminds us of a popsicle from our childhood with its punchy and sweet taste. It’s nostalgia in a cup (or cone).
As much as we love cherry, it doesn’t make the top three partly because it’s hard to find. We’ve most often seen it at EPCOT festivals or in short-term treats around the parks and resorts. And many times, it’s available swirled with pineapple, which is honestly a winning combination.
3. Raspberry
Oh, Raspberry DOLE Whip, how we miss you! This flavor used to live at Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom and was the perfect match for the popular pineapple, but it went away a while back and hasn’t returned permanently.
Nowadays, we wait for it to pop up at a festival, at Pineapple Lanai, or at Swirls on the Water. It’s like a leveled-up version of strawberry — often smoother with a bit stronger of a flavor and just a hint of tartness. It’s one of the best flavors to just eat straight-up on its own.
2. Lime
Lime DOLE Whip is the unsung hero of the DOLE Whip world, you guys! It’s tart, but not sour, and very refreshing. It’s fruity and fun and unique and goes great with Sprite (RIP the Peter Pan Float). Plus, you can get it as the Key Lime Swirl at Good’s Foods to Go at the Old Key West Resort — that’s a hidden gem treat for SURE.
It’s a little bit harder to find than it used to be, but it pops up fairly frequently on the daily DOLE Whip menu at Pineapple Lanai. This is the kind of treat you want to eat while sitting on a beach on a hot day!
1. Pineapple
Of course, the KING of all DOLE Whip flavors is the OG, Pineapple! Tangy and sweet and oh-so-tropical, it’s the ultimate way to enjoy DOLE Whip, and it’s a must-try for anyone going to Disney World for the first time. This is available in many spots around Disney World, but Aloha Isle is typically the bucket list spot to grab a Pineapple DOLE Whip.
Try it in a float or on top of a slice of Pineapple Upside-Down Cake, or get it swirled with vanilla to make it a bit milder. However you enjoy it, you can’t deny that this is one of Disney World’s most iconic snacks…and we LOVE IT.
Some DOLE Whip Treats We Highly Recommend
But that’s not all! There are some incredible DOLE Whip-related treats that we have to recommend to you if you want to try something a bit more outside-the-box. The Pineapple Upside-Down Cake at Aloha Isle pairs Pineapple DOLE Whip with cake to make a combo that is light and refreshing, as well as comforting and filling.
Nearby, Sunshine Tree Terrace serves the popular I Lava You Float, which is Orange DOLE Whip with Fanta Strawberry and red passion fruit syrup topped with popping candy. It’s a fun texture with the popping candy and some striking flavors with the orange and strawberry together.
If you make it to Disney Springs during your trip, grab the DOLE Whip Sampler from Swirls on the Water. The flavors on this platter change seasonally, but it allows you the chance to sample three different DOLE Whip treats at a time, usually with some fun combinations. Just make sure you eat it FAST because it melts in the sun easily!
And of course, we have to recommend DOLE Whip Floats. You can get these at many spots that serve DOLE Whip, and you can often choose your flavor of soda to mix with DOLE Whip. It’s a great way to stay hydrated and to try out new mixes of flavors.
Those are our rankings of ALL the DOLE Whip flavors in Disney World. Next time you visit, try them out and let us know which is your fav!
