A new ride is coming soon to Disneyland Resort and Disney World!
Soarin’ Across America
Soarin’ Across America is the third iteration of Soarin’, this time celebrating some of the United States’ most iconic landmarks and locales. This version is arriving in EPCOT and California Adventure in honor of America’s 250th birthday, and we just got a sneak peek at some of the locations that will be featured in the new ride film.
Disney has shared that this new ride will feature breathtaking views “from sea to shining sea,” and based on this sneak peek, they weren’t kidding! The quality of the images already looks a step above the old version of the ride.

You’ll see stunning locations like New York Harbor, the New England coastline, and Grand Canyon West. Disney says, “The experience features so many quintessentially American settings… the autumn colors of the heartland; the beauty of our bayous; the great plains of the west; the northern wilderness; and sunlit island shores.”

“Each scene helps to create a portrait of what we believe makes America so special,” said Tom Fitzgerald, creative director and chief storytelling executive at Walt Disney Imagineering. “It’s a tapestry of urban wonders, natural beauty, and iconic locations that celebrate the spirit of the nation and the 250th anniversary of the United States.”

A new arrangement of the Soarin’ themes was made by Bruce Broughton. And while you wait in the queue, you can check out the NEW trivia game. The Soarin’ Challenge Across America was made in collaboration with National Geographic and will have you and your crew answering trivia questions about the 50 states. Also, photography from National Geographic has been added to the queue to transform the space into something more visually stunning.
