With all the construction going on at Disney World, this location has kind of fallen under the radar. However, we noticed some big changes were happening!

Disney’s BoardWalk
Disney’s Boardwalk Resort used to be home to a very popular bar called Jellyrolls, until it closed down in April 2025. Since its closure, Disney has been working on the building, and construction has been ramping up. We went to check out the progress, and a lot of work has been done. We’re just wondering what is going to be coming to this spot.
When you look at this building, you wouldn’t know that this is where Jellyrolls stood if you’d never been there before.

Old Jellyrolls building
There are walls up all around the building…

Walls are still up!
…and the interior of the building has been cleared out!

The interior is gone!
Disney hasn’t confirmed what will be taking over this spot, or what we can at least expect to arrive at Disney’s Boardwalk. Whatever it is, we’re sure it’ll be a great addition to the popular Disney resort, adding some more activities to do. What we can assume is that with the rapid progression of construction, we should be hearing about what’s happening soon!

What’s coming here?
Jellyrolls officially closed on April 19th, 2025, but it’s not the end for the dueling piano bar. It didn’t take long for the confirmation that a NEW Jellyrolls is coming, and this one will be just 10 minutes away from the original location. Construction has already begun on this new space, and we’re looking forward to seeing it when it opens.

Jellyrolls
This new version of Jellyrolls will still be for adults 21 and up. It will also have free parking, as well as a space to be dropped off by rideshare. Expect Jellyrolls to feature more technologically advanced lighting and sound, as well as a prominent stage.

We’re going to be keeping an eye out for everything happening with the old Jellyrolls location at Disney, as well as the new Jellyrolls that will be coming. Make sure to stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog so that you don’t miss a thing!

I would like to see Shula’s Steak House occupy that space. We used to go there when it was located next door at the Swan and Dolphin.
