Air New Zealand might have just introduced something that will completely change the plane travel game. Let’s dive in!
Last week, Air New Zealand shared that starting on May 18th, they will be launching Economy Skynest™ in order to make long-haul economy flights more comfortable. And that means bunk beds! Yes, you heard us right, bunk beds on an airplane!
This innovative new seat will include a pod where you can lie flat and close a curtain over your bed for privacy. This sounds so cool, your very own bed without having to pay first-class prices!

This is an interesting option that allows for the regular row seating to be turned into a bed. Overall, while it was snug and at times a little difficult to move around and grab items once the bed was in place, it was still a much better option than a regular economy seat on a long flight. Also, the Air New Zealand team was phenomenal, and the service was excellent!
