Disney World’s Cool Kids’ Summer officially begins on May 26th! After making its debut in 2025, the summer event for kiddos is set to return. This year, they are adding even more characters and fun activities throughout Disney World for kids of all ages (including kids at heart, like us!).

Cool Kids’ Summer is filled with so many fun activities for little ones to enjoy! Meet your favorite Toy Story characters at Magic Kingdom, check out GoofyCore at EPCOT as CommuniCore Hall is retransformed, a dance party at Disney Springs, plus much more.

Bluey’s Wild World

What else is coming to Disney World this summer? Oh, yeah…Bluey for the very first time! The beloved show, Bluey, is coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Get ready to experience Bluey’s Wild World as Bluey and Bingo take over the Conservation Station at Rafiki’s Planet Watch.

Families can head over to Bluey’s Wild World on the Wildlife Express Train, starting on May 26th, and play special games directly from Bluey episodes, meet and take pictures with Bluey and Bingo, and even discover animals native to Bluey’s home country, Australia, at Jumping Junction!

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!

Over at Hollywood Studios, May 26th will bring a brand-new show — Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! This live show is inspired by Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+, and invites everyone to celebrate with the ultimate party at the Clubhouse. This new experience will be located in the former Disney Jr. Dance Party space at the new Walt Disney Studios area.

The Magic of Disney Animation

Speaking of, you can’t have the dance party unless the Walt Disney Studios area is open, right?! To that we say, correct, as well as the Walt Disney Studios Area WILL be open! On May 26th, the newly reimagined Walt Disney Studios Courtyard at Hollywood Studios, The Magic of Disney Animation, will officially be open to experience.

This new area is going to feature things like Disney Princess meet-and-greets, an Alice in Wonderland playground for kiddos, drawing classes with an Olaf animatronic, and more! We seriously can’t wait for this part of Hollywood Studios to be open again and experience all that is new with it.

Soarin’ Across America

Since we’re on the topic of new experiences, get ready to experience a brand-new version of Soarin’ Around the World on May 26th, called Soarin’ Across America! This patriotic makeover is for the 250th birthday of the U.S.A. Just be aware that in order to make way for the changes, Soarin’ Around the World will close on May 13th, 2026.

BOTH Water Parks Open Just in Time for This Hotel Perk’s Return

For the first time in years, the summer of 2025 at Disney World saw BOTH Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach open at the same time. Normally, it is just one or the other that is open. Well, the trend continues this year, as BOTH water parks will be open this year, starting on May 26th through September 8th.

May 26th is also the first day of the free water park hotel perk, which is back after its debut in 2025. Guests staying at a Disney World hotel will get a free ticket to visit a water park on their check-in day!
