Taking a toddler to Disney World? You’ll probably have a BLAST, but you’ll want to prepare ahead of time!
The key to success with your little ones is to have patience, go with the flow, and of course, pack properly! We’ve gotten pretty good at that last one over the years, and now, we’re here to recommend our favorite shoes for toddlers to wear in Disney World.
Get these for new walkers
If your toddler or baby is new to walking, one of our favorite shoes to start with is the Stride Rite 360 Baby Taye 2.0. These come in a few different colors and patterns, and they have soft, flexible soles and wide toe boxes that adapt to smaller feet.
This one’s a classic!
Of course, one of the most popular shoes we see toddlers wearing in the parks is Crocs Kid’s Classic Clogs. These come in a bunch of colors on Amazon, they’re durable, and handle water well, whether it’s rainy or your kid’s a sucker for a splash pad.
We love New Balance as an option, too!
For your tiny tots, these New Balance Baby Boys’ 574 New-b Hook-and-Loop Sneakers are a great option for long park days. Comfortable and wide to accommodate little feet, they close with velcro to make it easier to take them on and off.
Or, you can grab a version for older toddlers
Once your toddler starts to size up into kids’ sizes, the New Balance Kid’s Rave Run V2 Bungee is a good choice. These also come in several patterns and a BUNCH of sizes — from infant to big kid. The bungee straps make them easier for kids to put on.
Don’t forget the water shoes!
If you’re heading to the pool or plan on visiting splash pads or water parks during your trip, it’s a good idea to have some dedicated water shoes. These JOINFREE Baby Toddler Water Shoes are some of our favorites. They’re very breathable!
These are so cute!
Looking for a fashion option? If so, we’re fans of these E-FAK Baby Shoes. They’re designed for new walkers and have non-slip soles.
A classic choice!
Speaking of fashion, these Vans Unisex-Child Brooklyn Ls V Low Top Shoes are very cute and come in more than two dozen designs and colors. They close easily with two velcro straps.
And finally, a cute little Mary Jane!
For the girls, we really like these Shiny Faux-Leather Mary Jane Sneakers for Toddler Girls from Old Navy. They’ll match wonderfully with princess outfits or Minnie Mouse-themed looks. The soles are comfy and they’re easy to take on and off.
