What is your favorite Disney World ride? 62% of you just said Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind — I mean, I don’t have proof of that, just a hunch. Ever since this ride opened, Disney fans have fallen in love with it, and we know why.

Cosmic Rewind
For many, it’s a must-do every single EPCOT day. But once you’ve ridden it a handful of times, you start noticing things and wishing Disney would tweak a few things. We have some thoughts about what we would love to see changed here. We can’t promise that Disney will make these happen, but this is us politely asking Disney to consider these improvements!
Rule #1: You Should Be Able to Choose Your Own Song
One of the most anticipated parts of Cosmic Rewind is the music, but for a ride with such a stacked soundtrack, fans are hoping for a little more control. Imagine choosing your song Rip Ride Rockit–style, formerly at Universal Studios, before boarding, with each ride vehicle playing that track through its own speakers. It would instantly make repeat rides feel brand new, let guests avoid songs they’re not obsessed with, and turn every ride into a personalized experience.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
Let’s be honest: Disney Adults already rank these songs constantly, so why not lean into it and let fans curate their perfect ride moment? Logistically, we know that this would require Disney to redo the ride vehicles and systems, so is it likely to happen? No. But some fans have worn their own headphones on the ride and chosen a song to rock out to — just be sure they don’t fall out!

Rule #2: You Should Be Allowed to Skip the Pre-Shows
The Cosmic Rewind pre-shows are impressive the first few times. But for guests who ride regularly, hearing the same dialogue over and over can feel less like storytelling and more like a delay between you and the coaster. That’s why Disney Adults are begging for an optional way to skip the pre-shows and head straight to boarding. It would keep first-timers fully immersed while giving repeat riders a faster, more efficient experience.

It could also be a great option for visitors who struggle with crowds and tight spaces, because those happen during this part of the queue. We know this could be abused by others who simply want to skip the line and head straight for the coaster. If you do feel overwhelmed by the preshows, just hang back from the crowd and stay to the left, as everyone else will crowd over to the right side to be closer to the doors.

Rule #3: The Queue Should Be Interactive
Cosmic Rewind’s queue is packed with cool displays, hidden details, and futuristic tech, which is exactly why Disney Adults want more to do while waiting. Instead of relying on looped videos alone, fans would love interactive buttons, panels, or touchpoints that respond when you engage with them. Interactive queues have worked wonders on other attractions, and here they would give guests something fun to focus on during long waits while rewarding those who actually stop to explore. If we’re standing in line anyway, we might as well press some buttons, right?

Rule #4: Every Great Ride Deserves a Snack at the Exit
If there’s one thing DisneyFoodBlog readers know, it’s that no great Disney experience should end without food, and Cosmic Rewind is practically begging for a themed snack stand. “Caketoast,” a throwaway line from Drax in the ride, has already become a fan favorite, and Disney Adults would absolutely line up to try it in real life. Whether it’s caketoast or a full Guardians-inspired snack kiosk, adding food at the exit would extend the experience, boost EPCOT’s already-strong snack game, and give fans one more reason to talk about the ride long after it’s over.
