We’re back to bring you more of the brand-new Disney Adventure cruise ship!

The Disney Adventure’s home port is in Singapore, and it is the first Disney Cruise Line ship to sail from Singapore’s Marina Bay Cruise Centre throughout Southeast Asia. We’re exploring everything there is to see, do, and eat on this ship — oh, and did we mention it’s the first Disney ship to heavily feature Duffy the Disney Bear?!

This cruise ship is all about Duffy the Disney Bear, and we’re exploring all the ways you can experience Duffy!

Duffy and the Friend Ship

This brand-new show takes place in the Disney Imagination Garden and features original new songs as Duffy and Friends set off on an imaginary voyage to explore the seas on a charming adventure. It’s also the very first time Duffy and his friends have ever spoken in English, which was super special to see!

We absolutely loved this show! It explores what the Ocean means to each of the friends as Duffy struggles to find what it means to him. He and his friends all work together to build a ship, and they decide that Duffy should steer the boat and be the captain.

Duffy starts off a little unsure because he and Mickey have always traveled the world together, with Mickey as Captain. His friends encourage him to take the wheel, and it was an adorable, fun show. The songs were also super catchy — we found ourselves singing them for the rest of the day!

But, there’s more Duffy where that came from!

Duffy and Friends Shop

You can find all your Duffy and Friends merchandise needs at this shop, and trust us, you won’t be disappointed. There is SO much Duffy merchandise to explore here, we could spend all day just checking everything out. Our first day on board, reservations for this spot sold out immediately, so it was VERY popular. We ended up waiting in a standby queue to get inside.

We got in line a few minutes after it opened at 10 AM, and it took us about 20 minutes to get into the store.

We loved that Duffy and each of his friends had their own section of the store! We did notice that LinaBell’s stuff sold out the fastest, with her keychain specifically selling out on the first day. If those are the items you’re interested in, we recommend getting the earliest reservation you can, or hopping in the standby line as early as possible on day one.

This place was absolutely packed, but if you just casually want to look around, or don’t have your eye on anything specific, you can certainly wait until later in the day when crowds have diminished, and you can slip in with much fewer crowds. It just depends on what your priorities are!

But wait, there’s more!

Duffy and Friends Discovery Quest

This quest takes you across the entire ship by following clues to help Duffy and his friends find their missing things. You’ll even get a “special commemorative gift” when you help them find their items.

You’ll follow clues to locate missing items for Duffy and his friends after buying a guide at the Duffy and Friends shop. This is an additional charge of $12.99 USD, but we thought it was so fun. It was like an EPCOT Scavenger Hunt, but better! Inside the map, you’ll find Duffy’s cottage with cutouts of each of his friends.

The stickers were inside the little house, and the cutouts fit into the ship on the back for a cute display as you hunted for clues.

The gift at the end was a sailor hat for a Duffy Bear. We found this to be a little funny, because it’s like they’re assuming everyone already owns a bear…but they’re kinda right!
