We’re on the new Disney Adventure cruise ship this week, and we were blown away by the new Spellbound Lounge. It’s a mysterious lounge inspired by the Evil Queen from Snow White with some wickedly tempting treats!

Of course, we had to stop and check it out and try one of these poisonous drinks for ourselves.
We tried The Queen for $16, which was made with Ciroc Vodka, grape, lime juice, agave, and Pommery Brut.

This drink didn’t entirely blow us away. According to our Cast Member, this is the most popular drink. It was sweet and fruity, thanks to the grape, but was pretty acidic due to the lime juice. It was balanced and sweet, but we think drinking a whole glass would have been too much. One thing we did love was the smoke coming out of the lit-up cube! It was like a dry ice effect, but something that lasted the whole drink.
We loved all the details around the bar, though. Obviously themed to the Evil Queen and Snow White, there were tons of references to the movie with mirrors…

There was a lot of oozing and dripping symbolism, too.

The trees and twisting branches were pretty cool to see. It felt like we were going into the forest.

We could have spent hours admiring all the details — we just probably would have ordered a different drink to sip on.
