It Just Got EASIER To Earn Points on Royal Caribbean Cruises

Listen up, cruisers — it just got easier to earn points while cruising!

Royal Caribbean Group has some of the most popular sailings on the sea across its three cruise lines — Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, and Silversea. Now, no matter which one you choose to embark on a voyage with, you’ll have flexibility when you earn your points!

Royal Caribbean Group is introducing a new feature to its loyalty program called Points Choice, which the company has described as “a groundbreaking new program created to give loyal guests something extraordinary: the freedom to earn points on any of its three brands and apply them where they matter most.”

Are you ready for a Perfect Day?

This new offering launches in January 2026, connecting Royal Caribbean’s Crown & Anchor Society, Celebrity Cruises’ Captain’s Club, and Silversea’s Venetian Society. A guest sailing with one brand can now choose to apply their earned points from the sailing to any of the three loyalty clubs. This allows you to build status in your favorite brand or to add points to one that you’re interested in trying out in the future.

Symphony of the Seas

This adds to the previously introduced Status Match program, which allows loyalty members from the three brands to enjoy equivalent tier status across all three. Royal Caribbean Group notes, “Together, Status Match and Points Choice create the most integrated and rewarding loyalty ecosystem in the industry.”

This is available on sailings departing on or after January 30th, 2026. Members will continue earning points like they currently do, but you’ll have the option to move your points up to 14 days after your sailing. You’ll be able to make the change online.

We’ll be interested to see how this program change impacts Royal Caribbean’s popularity as a brand. They’ve been introducing plenty of exciting new additions in the past few years, so this unique loyalty program upgrade comes at a convenient time.
