Bright suns, travelers! Disneyland is dropping MAJOR Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge news, so get ready to grab your lightsabers and head to the spires.
Starting April 29th, Galaxy’s Edge is getting store changes to integrate new timelines and storylines, and we have all the details right here.
The First Order Cargo will transform to Black Spire Surplus. It’s based on a military salvage operation with artifacts from across the galaxy, including Imperial and Rebel items from the Galactic Civil War. There will be merchandise from different histories and timelines, meaning you’ll be able to get souvenirs from your favorite eras — no matter where they fall in comparison to Galaxy’s Edge.
Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities will have one-of-a-kind items, including items from the past (special items from Star Wars history? Say less!).
Even Droid Depot is getting a few changes. An earlier generation of the Mubo family will now be running the place, and you’ll be able to find prototypes of the BB-style droids.
Guests might even see Luke Skywalker have a few meetings with Savi to search for more knowledge, lightsabers, and the Force inside Savi’s Workshop.
All of these changes are coming because Disneyland is welcoming multiple timelines in Galaxy’s Edge, including stories from The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, The Mandalorian, and Ahsoka. We’re so excited to see all of our favorite characters from different movies in one place.
We’ll be in Disneyland on April 29th, bringing back all the details here for you, so make sure you keep following Disney Food Blog for everything you need to know before your next trip.
