Update: As of 10:51 AM on January 12th, the building was all clear, and guests were allowed to reenter.
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is currently being evacuated due to a fire alarm.
A fire truck has arrived on the scene, and guests are currently being held outside the building. Our reporter was at the hotel to check on the boat dock closure when the evacuation began.
We spoke with a Cast Member, who said they are wrapping up the issue and expect the building to reopen soon.
Update as of 10:47 AM on January 12th, 2026: Cast Members are distributing water bottles to anyone who needs them, and some Cast Members have been allowed to reenter the building.

We had the same thing happen to us when we were there in November. Middle of the night and rather cold outside. Disney needs to get a handle on the cause of these repeated false alarms. System problems? Vandalism?
Happened around 12:30am on 1/15 and same time on 12/16
Happened to us too on November 29th around 7:00 in the morning. Everyone in their pajamas. No explanation or any assistance from the hotel.
