If you’re looking for the MUST-VISIT Disney World restaurants in 2026, you’ve come to the right place!
A new year means we get to provide a new list showcasing some of our favorite Disney World offerings! For this one, we’re providing a deep-dive into which restaurants the DFB team agrees are WORTH investing in for upcoming vacations. We have a lot of fun making these, so hopefully you have just as much fun sitting back and learning about ALL the different “must try” options around the Walt Disney World Resort property!
This is a big one, so without further ado, let’s get right into it!
New And Noteworthy
GEO-82
In 2025, we said “hey-there, hi-there, ho-there,” to 3 different spots. The first was Geo-82 in EPCOT, which opened back on June 4th, 2025. This spot is a sophisticated adults-only lounge tucked away inside the base of Spaceship Earth. After you get off the ride, and you’re about to exit the Project Tomorrow area, you’ll find the entrance for GEO illuminated in a golden hue to your right.
GEO’s cocktail menu is stacked with choices that feel genuinely unique. The zero-proof cocktails also get their due here — and while they may be a lot more limited, the ones that are available have been clearly designed for the adults who are tired of theme park mocktails having some sort of sugary lemonade base, giving guests a more grown-up beverage option while still holding off on the booze.
The food menu leans toward small plates, with flavors that borrow from upscale global cuisine. Keep in mind that you WILL need to make Advance Dining Reservations for GEO-82, AND your group members will need to be at least 21+ years of age to enter.
The Beak and Barrel
The Beak and Barrel over at Magic Kingdom opened on August 29th, 2025, and — Much like GEO-82 — this is another lounge that does require advance dining reservations. But UNLIKE GEO, it’s a lounge that ALL AGES can enjoy.
The Beak and Barrel is themed around the Pirates of the Caribbean ride and movie franchise — and, as the story goes, legendary pirate rumrunner, Captain Meridian “Merry” Goldwyn, has set up this “lively pirate pub” while her first mate, Rummy, keeps an eye on everything from his roost near the top of the bar.
The menu includes cocktails and pub-like light bites, including chips and dips, corn griddle cakes, and the Kraken’s Catch (which is a drink that includes grilled octopus tentacles).
Disney has a 2-drink limit at their bars and lounges, but The Beak and Barrel’s cocktails are pretty strong, so one might be more than enough. Don’t say we didn’t warn you…
Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina
If you decide to pay Disney’s partnering hotels — Swan and Dolphin — a visit, then you’ll have the chance to eat at their new Bourbon Steak by Michael Mina restaurant, which opened on July 26th, 2025.
The restaurant is open nightly from 5 PM to 11 PM, offering a reimagined modern take on the quintessential American steakhouse with premium cuts of beef and seafood infused with global flavors, along with decadent signature desserts, and world-class beverage offerings.
The Bourbon Steak Lounge also serves “handcrafted cocktails, fine wines and rare spirits.”
Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs
Time to dip a little bit further into the past — back to the second half of 2024 — when Disney’s Boardwalk Inn started releasing some real restaurant BANGERS on their hotel scene. First, there was the Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs stand — which we ORIGINALLY tried over in Disneyland before it was introduced to the Disney World bubble.
Blue Ribbon serves hand-dipped Corn Dogs, and while, yeah, you CAN get a classic corn dog here with no bells and whistles, the fun part about this place is getting the more unique Corn Dogs. We’re talking Pickle Dogs, Mexican Street Dogs, and a not-so-little something called the Golden Dragon — which is a corn dog rolled in Panko Bread Crumbs, and served with Sriracha Mayo and Sweet Thai Chili.
We LOVE the deep-fried Hawaiian roll here — which are Hawaiian Rolls fried, then covered in Cinnamon Sugar and Sweetened Condensed Milk.
The Cake Bake Shop
Boardwalk Inn ALSO opened The Cake Bake Shop at the end of 2024, which — straight up — has it all.
It’s got breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It’s got an attached grab-and-go bakery. It’s got an afternoon tea service. It’s got a champagne bar. It’s got MASSIVE cakes. It’s got a GLITTER DRAGON MASCOT.
And if you ever find yourself having trouble getting a reservation here through the My Disney Experience app, try the OpenTable website instead — because THEY might have some more tables saved back for ya!
Wailulu Bar and Grill
Wailulu Bar and Grill — over at Polynesian Village’s NEW DVC Island Tower — has really won us over in ways we REALLY weren’t expecting. This casual walk-up pool bar and grill shows off gorgeous views of Seven Seas Lagoon and Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom, while also featuring an all-day menu for lunch and dinner. That being said, specialty coffee and on-the-go morning pastries are also available during breakfast.
On the lunch and dinner menu, you can grab things like Sweet Potato Hummus and Spiced Ham Musubi, as well as more substantial eats, including Sticky Pork Ribs and Poke Bowls. But the Wayfinder Burger is what we keep coming back here for.
The Wayfinder Burger is made with Two Pressed Patties, American Cheese, Onion Jam, and Volcano Sauce on a Sweet Bun. The beef is SO fresh with a homemade burger taste instead of the usual hockey puck/school cafeteria burger taste that you might find at some of Disney’s other quick service locations.
Paddy’s Bar
He’s just a li’l guy, but Paddy’s Bar — right outside Raglan Road — opened in Spring 2025, and gives you a cozy outdoor space to sit down and pick up one of the 12 beers on tap, or something else from the full bar.
The Perch
Over at the Grand Floridian lobby, the new The Perch bar is a birdcage-inspired lounge that debuted at the end of 2025. The birdcage part is very important, since it replaced the resort’s iconic birdcage decor that used to be here.
Now, the reimagined birdcage serves up drinks, too.
1900 Park Fare
After years of being MIA post-2020 closures, 1900 Park Fare in Grand Floridian Resort and Spa returned to us in 2024 in a whole new way.
While the character dining aspect and full buffet of options (including the CLASSIC chilled Strawberry Soup) remained the same, the dining room was COMPLETELY refreshed, AND the characters featured here switched up to include Aladdin (in his Prince Ali look), Cinderella, Mirabel from Encanto, and Tiana in her new outfit for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
Level99
One last thing we want to mention before we move on is that there’s the POSSIBILITY that 2026 is gonna bring us another brand new restaurant that comes along with a MASSIVE interactive game. Disney Springs is currently adding Level99 in the old NBA Experience/Disney Quest building. This new offering is essentially a giant, futuristic arcade and entertainment center.
Along with all the challenges, obstacle courses, and escape rooms — Level 99 will also have a chef-crafted menu, including its award-winning, Detroit-style pizza.
Less New, Still Noteworthy
Now, if you haven’t been to Disney World recently, then you’re bound to find even MORE restaurants that are still new to you.
Roundup Rodeo BBQ
Over at Hollywood Studios, Roundup Rodeo BBQ opened over in Toy Story Land and is a fully immersive (and ULTRA COLORFUL) western-style themed restaurant designed to make you really feel part of the Toy Story gang. Everywhere you look, you’ll find hidden details and nods to some of your favorite Toy Story characters.
If you’re hungry, this is the place to be in Hollywood Studios! The barbecue eats are served up family-style, which means the endless entrees and sides will be delivered to your table for you to split amongst your group. And if you ever need a refill on a particular item, all you’ve gotta do is ask!
eet by Maneet Chauhan
Towards the very end of 2023, Disney Springs actually gave us not one, but TWO new restaurants to enjoy. The first was eet by Maneet Chauhan — which is an Indian quick-service celebrity chef restaurant located close to Earl of Sandwich and Rainforest Cafe that serves up “traditional flavor with modern flair.”
Summer House on the Lake
And the second restaurant — Summer House on the Lake — is a sit-down meal that reminds us of Cake Bake Shop in a way, because it has that “jack of all trades” feel to it.
You’ve got lunch and dinner here. You’ve got weekend brunch options. You’ve got on-the-go breakfast. You’ve got the attached Cookie Bar bakery. You’ve got THREE different bars. AND you’ve got a rosé cart featuring the restaurant’s signature Summer House rosé!
Fully-Immersive
This next set of restaurants might not be new, but that sure doesn’t mean they lack personality. Disney World is good at not just creating restaurants, but creating an experience where you feel just as much a part of the story as the dining room and servers themselves.
Be Our Guest Restaurant
If you’re looking for a royal castle immersive setting, you’ll want to book reservations for either Be Our Guest Restaurant OR Cinderella’s Royal Table, both in Magic Kingdom. Be Our Guest is a prix-fixe dining experience — meaning you’ll choose one appetizer, entree, and dessert from a list of options, but no matter which ones you choose, you’ll pay a set price for your whole meal.
The menu consists of French-inspired cuisine — but the REAL reason you dine here is because you get to dine INSIDE Beast’s castle (straight outta the Beauty and the Beast animated film).
Cinderella’s Royal Table
While Be Our Guest can book up fairly quickly, it’s really Cinderella’s Royal Table that you’ll want to be prioritizing advance dining reservations for right when they open up 60 days before your visit… Because those dining room seats fill up FAST.
Cinderella’s Royal Table is Magic Kingdom’s most popular restaurant, but it’s also THE most expensive of the bunch. We’re talking a prix-fixe price of $76 per adult for breakfast and $89 per adult for lunch and dinner.
The price and demand continue to be high for this restaurant — even after all this time — because it’s one of the few ways that you can actually go inside Cinderella Castle (besides going to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or being invited by Disney to stay in the Cinderella Castle Dream Suite).
It’s also popular because it’s a character dining experience featuring quite a few fan-favorite Disney Princesses.
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
If you miss your window of opportunity to book a reservation for Cinderella’s Royal Table, the only other restaurant that currently offers an all-princess character meal is Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in EPCOT — which is significantly easier to secure reservations for and STILL gives you a royal setting to dine in (just not inside THE Cinderella Castle).
Regardless, Akershus is still a solid alternative (at a slightly cheaper price point, too)!
Skipper Canteen
If you thought Beak and Barrel was really neat in the way they manage to expand a classic Disney attraction’s storyline, you might also want to try Skipper Canteen while you’re in the area, too!
Skipper Canteen extends the story of the Jungle Cruise attraction, but not in a Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson live-action movie way. More in a way that provides you with an adventurous dining environment and LOTS of punny twists. The lore behind the restaurant is that it all started as a tropical headquarters that allowed skippers to rest before their next adventure.
The Skipper Canteen menu gets a bit more adventurous than your typical American and theme park fare.
Expect to find appetizers, entrees, and desserts inspired by African, Asian, and Latin cuisine — in addition to a fun selection of specialty cocktails, beer, and wine, too.
Shiki-Sai Sushi Izakaya
Wanna feel immersed in culture? Shiki-Sai Sushi Izakaya in EPCOT is the place for you! This Japan Pavilion restaurant features a “festive dining experience in a shareable Izakaya-style.”
“Izakaya” menus typically feature small dishes, and that’s also the case here at Shiki-Sai. The menu includes items like sushi and teppan, as well as an open sushi bar and grill. Or if you REALLY feel like going all-out with your group, you can get that MASSIVE $300 sushi boat – which holds enough sushi and sashimi to feed 4-6 people.
And be on the lookout for brand new items featured throughout the year, since the menu tends to change and represent different Japanese seasonal festivals!
Biergarten
Biergarten — over in EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion — is a German buffet where you can celebrate Oktoberfest all year long, all while enjoying the lively entertainment within its open dining room.
San Angel Inn Restaurante
San Angel Inn Restaurante — over in EPCOT’s Mexico Pavilion — is the restaurant that’s actually INSIDE the Mexico pyramid, tucked away next to the Gran Fiesta Tour boat ride.
The restaurant also serves a number of signature drinks, some of which can also be found at the neighboring La Cava del Tequila. Though let’s be real here. If we want a good marg done up RIGHT, we’re hightailing it on over to La Cava and putting our name on its walk-up waitlist. Those folks know how to make some of the BEST margs we’ve ever had.
Space 220
EPCOT can also immerse you in SPACE CULTURE, too! Space 220 is a futuristic restaurant that’ll take ya on a dining adventure 220 miles above EPCOT. For lunch and dinner, you’ll choose from a multi-course prix fixe menu (with two courses for lunch and three for dinner).
If you don’t want to pay $55 per adult for lunch or $79 per adult for dinner, we’d recommend making reservations for the Space 220 Lounge or checking to see if there’s walk-up availability for the bar. You’ll get an à la carte menu of limited “space bites” to choose from instead (so you’ll STILL get the whole immersive experience minus the REALLY expensive price point).
Oga’s Cantina
Speaking of Space Culture and creative drinks that’re both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, Oga’s Cantina over in Hollywood Studios is a spaceport bar found in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, where you can sip on a bubbling brew and listen to beats provided by a DJ droid.
Whether you order a boozy or non-boozy beverage at Oga’s, each drink features unique ingredients using “otherworldly methods.”
50’s Prime Time Cafe
For a step back in time (back to the ’50s), Hollywood Studios has TWO really fun time capsule-style restaurants. 50s Prime Time Cafe is a restaurant that serves home-cooked-style meals in a setting that makes you feel like you’ve just stepped onto the TV set of a 1950s family sitcom.
This place is adorned with wallpaper, TVs, retro couches, shelves filled with knick-knacks, and servers who like to call themselves your “cousins” who are known for cracking jokes, teasing you for not eating your vegetables, and continually keeping you on your toes all meal long while also keeping your elbows off the table.
Sci-Fi Dine-In Restaurant
Then, over at Sci-Fi Dine-In Restaurant, day automatically turns to night… kind of like San Angel Inn! But instead of this one being set in a night market in Mexico, it’s set in a retro drive-in movie parking lot where you can eat your diner-style burgers and milkshakes in a convertible car while watching cartoons and cheesy black-and-white sci-fi movie trailers.
Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto
Similar to The Beak and Barrel, Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto over at Polynesian Village Resort is a small, secluded bar with a BIG interactive personality.
What drinks you order will determine what special effects and zany antics trigger throughout the room. It’s a whole lot of fun here, and there are a variety of bites to choose from, too, but make sure you put your name on that walk-up waitlist PRONTO (like, RIGHT when the lounge opens at 3 PM).
Otherwise, you might have to settle for Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace (which is the outdoor portion of the lounge that’s still fun and has the exact same menu, just no immersive elements constantly keeping you entertained).
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue
If you’re looking for a good ol’ dinner/theater experience where there’s the possibility that you might get called onstage for your big Disney acting debut, Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue over at Fort Wilderness is the place to be.
Hoop-Dee-Doo takes place in a huge barn where you’ll be able to watch musical numbers, dance routines, and funny gags happen throughout the night, all while you chow down on an endless family-style meal of American favorites like fried chicken, smoked BBQ pork ribs, seasonal vegetables and salad, baked beans, fresh baked corn bread, and strawberry shortcake.
If you’re 21 and older, this is the ONLY place on Disney property that also offers unlimited draft beer, wine, and sangria — as well as unlimited soft drinks for ALL ages.
Character Dining (Where The Food Is Actually Good)
Character dining in Disney World gives you the chance to eat a bunch of food while meeting some of your favorite Disney characters in the process. The only issue with that is, sometimes, it feels like you’ve gotta sacrifice the food quality to get that one-on-one character interaction. But that’s not the case with all of Disney’s character dining experiences.
Tusker House
Tusker House over in Animal Kingdom is one of the BEST examples of character dining that’s fun AND delicious.
The buffet items served during breakfast, lunch, and dinner are flavorful and interesting, combining both American and African-inspired cuisine. And during your meal, characters like Donald Duck, Mickey, Goofy, and Daisy will come around to meet and greet with ya while all dressed up in their Safari best!
Garden Grill
For endless family-style eats, Garden Grill over in EPCOT earns itself a gold star in the character dining category. Garden Grill lives on the second story of the Land Pavilion (the same building where you’ll find Soarin and Living with the Land on the first floor). During your meal, the whole dining room slowly rotates so you can get new views of the murals and areas of the Living with the Land boat ride happening directly below you.
Don’t stress out TOO much about the spinning if you’re someone who gets easily queasy. The dining room rotates SO slowly that you probably won’t even notice it. So you should be able to walk around and eat your meal without any issues.
When you’re not busy eyeballing the change of scenery, Chip and Dale, Mickey, and Pluto will come up to your table to say hi — probably more than once per visit.
As far as the food here is concerned, there are two all-you-care-to-enjoy platters to choose from: The standard Harvest Feast has cornbread, backyard grilled steak, rotisserie-roasted turkey, and mac and cheese (with little Goldfish crackers usually sprinkled on top), while the Plant-based Harvest Feast has plant-based smoked “sausage,” pulled “pork” with southern BBQ sauce, and a farmer’s seasonal crumble with plant-based vanilla ice cream.
Topolino’s Terrace
For less endless eats and more of a prix-fixe dining experience, Topolino’s Terrace over at the Riviera has character dining during BREAKFAST ONLY.
Topolino’s Terrace has a light Italian theme with elegant decor and impressive chandeliers.
And while this place is more of an elevated/sophisticated dining experience during dinner, the breakfast character dining experience — called “Breakfast à la Art” — stays true to the artistic theming featured throughout the WHOLE resort, since Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy will be all dressed up in their artsy-fartsy attire.
Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White
And since *art* is apparently a big deal in the character dining world, let’s check out Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White over in Wilderness Lodge.
Opposite of Toppolino’s, Artist Point is a character dining experience that’s ONLY open during dinner and takes place in a room filled with big trees, twinkling lights, and 2 out of 7 hard-working dwarfs.
Here, you’ll be able to meet Snow White, Dopey, and Grumpy at your table — but, towards the end of your meal, you’ll be invited to meet the Evil Queen at her designated photo spot.
Again, Artist Point is a prix- fixe meal where you’ll pick an appetizer, entree, and dessert. But no matter which options you choose, all of the items are delightfully on theme and presented in a way that brings the story of Snow White to life in culinary fashion.
Walk-Up Lounges And Bars
In case Beak and Barrel and Geo 82 didn’t already make it clear, Disney is in a lounge and bar phase. While select lounges require reservations (like the newest ones we mentioned before), many are walk-up availability ONLY. And if you go to a nice restaurant that usually requires reservations and see that it has an attached lounge, you might be able to still experience the lounge’s menu for — possibly — a way cheaper price point than the main dining room will offer.
La Cava Del Tequila
This little EPCOT bar over in the Mexico Pavilion serves rare tequilas and unique margaritas, as well as a few appetizing ‘tapas style’ snacks like Chips and Queso.
Nomad Lounge
You can find Nomad Lounge right next to Animal Kingdom’s Signature restaurant, Tiffins. Here, you’ll be able to order hand-crafted cocktails, as well as non-alcoholic specialty drinks and small plates like the Tiffins Bread Service and gluten-free churros.
Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge
The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge at Hollywood Studios is literally attached to the Hollywood Brown Derby restaurant. There’s a full bar outside where you can walk up and order from a full drink menu (with boozy and non-boozy drinks alike). Additionally, there’s a full list of appetizers, entrees, and enhancements, including things like charcuterie boards, filet mignon, and that famous Cobb Salad of theirs.
Sanaa Lounge
Sanaa Lounge is a cozy spot just inside the entrance to the main Sanaa Table Service restaurant featured at Animal Kingdom Lodge (on the Kidani Village side). This is a place with dim lighting and cozy banquettes where you can enjoy specialty beverages, wine flights, and signature appetizers — including Sanaa’s Indian-style Bread Service.
California Grill Lounge
The California Grill Lounge is a great way to experience the much-loved signature restaurant inside the Contemporary Resort — and the Magic Kingdom fireworks view out on its private patio — without a reservation. You’ll still be able to enjoy a drink, fresh sushi, flatbread, or anything else from California Grill’s full menu without paying the signature prix-fixe dinner prices for it.
Steakhouse 71 Lounge
The Steakhouse 71 Lounge — also over at the Contemporary Resort — features its own unique menu of small plates and drinks that you can swing by and order even without a Steakhouse 71 reservation. Lounge Bites include items like PB&J Chicken Wings, the Bacon and Eggs appetizer, and the ultra cheesy stack burger.
Dahlia Lounge
You’ll find Dahlia Lounge in the Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs, right up next to the Toledo — Tapas, Steak, & Seafood restaurant. Dahlia serves tapas, specialty cocktails crafted by mixologists, and Spanish cavas spotlighted on the wine list.
Three Bridges Bar and Grill
Three Bridges Bar and Grill is a casual restaurant in Coronado Springs that serves upscale, Spanish-inspired bar food like queso, braised pork tacos, other shared plates, and burgers. And then there’s the beverage menu, which features specialty cocktails and sangria that can be ordered by the pitcher.
Enchanted Rose Lounge
Enchanted Rose Lounge over at the Grand Floridian is inspired by the live-action Beauty and the Beast film. This is a standalone lounge where you can order gourmet bites like seasonal flatbreads and Housemade Truffle Fries, as well as a variety of grand cocktails, featured martinis, and non-alcoholic teas and coffees.
Citricos Lounge
Citricos Lounge is located on the outskirts of the Citricos restaurant inside the Grand Floridian Resort. While there’s not a ton of space for the lounge beyond a few seated areas and a nearby marble-topped bar, the dining menu here is still quite robust, sporting first-course dishes, entrées, and a few enhancements. There are also two FULL beverage menus to choose from: One menu featuring specialty cocktails, zero-proof cocktails, hard ciders, and beer, and one with a full wine and champagne library.
Geyser Point Bar And Grill
Geyser Point Bar and Grill — located near the Copper Creek Springs Pool at Wilderness Lodge — offers open-air (yet shaded) dining, a fireplace for cool evenings, and waterfront views… all in one rustic/cozy setting.
The Featured Cocktail list at the lounge portion of this place has beverages unique to Geyser Point that specifically feature spirits from Northwest distilleries (to keep with the theming of the Resort).
You’ll also be able to order appetizers like Cheese and Charcuterie boards, as well as full entrees like the popular Bison Cheeseburger.
The Crew’s Cup Lounge
Located right next to Yachtsman Steakhouse at Yacht Club Resort, the Crew’s Cup Lounge is a great place to get a bite and a drink in a nice, relaxing atmosphere. In addition to specialty cocktails and a full bar, there’s also a food menu served during evening hours — which is where you’ll find the glorious PRIME RIB SLIDERS. Oh, and there’s also a glass window here where you’ll be able to peek inside the steakhouse kitchen!
Tutto Gusto
Nestled next to Tutto Italia Ristorante in EPCOT’s Italy pavilion, Tutto Gusto is a cozy 96-seat bar themed like an Italian wine cellar. Not only does this spot have 200+ types of Italian wines for you to choose from, but it’s also got several quality small plates (or “antipasti”) to pair along with whatever bottle you choose.
Wine Bar George
Wine Bar George has hundreds of different wines for you to choose from. And if that overwhelms you, don’t sweat it! The servers here are trained to help find the perfect wine for you — so just tell them some of your flavor preferences, and they’ll introduce you to (possibly) your new favorite thing to drink.
The food here ranges from small plates (like hummus and crispy Mac and cheese bites) to charcuterie boards to family-style plates. Seating is both indoors and outdoors, but outdoors is our preferred option because you can people-watch shoppers from that upstairs balcony area — which is a show in and of itself.
Homecomin’ Shine Bar and Social
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ at Disney Springs is already one of our favorite spots to grab good ol’ southern comfort foods — like Art’s Famous Fried Chicken and the Church Lady Deviled Eggs. But back in 2020, Homecomin’ decided to up its game and add on an open-air patio called the Shine Bar and Social.
Shine Bar is VERY similar to the Homecomin’ restaurant itself. You can still order off the main menu and enjoy that juicy, tender fried chicken of your dreams. But the prime focus at the Shine Bar is the “Shine on Tap” — where you can grab a moonshine-based cocktail to enjoy in their outdoor seating area or on the go.
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar over in Disney Springs is a lounge based around the oft-trusted pilot for Indiana Jones. This travel and adventure-inspired place serves uniquely themed cocktails and tapas, like the Air Pirate’s Cargo Loaded Pretzel, the Snakebite Sliders (“Why did it have to be snakes?”), the vodka-based Reggie’s Revenge Cocktail, and SO MUCH MORE.
If you visit around the holiday seasons, Jock Lindsey’s gets some fun seasonal overlays for its dining room, as well as some EXCLUSIVE limited-time menu options, too!
Under-The-Radar Gems
Listen, it’s hard to shout out all the restaurants we want to shout out. After all, Disney’s got hundreds to choose from. BUT since the DFB team has been working on updating the DFB Guide to Walt Disney World Dining lately (which goes IN-DEPTH talking about EVERY SINGLE RESTAURANT and SNACK STAND in ALL of Disney World), we came across these particular restaurants and thought… Wow. It’s been a while since we REALLY talked about these gems. And that needs to be fixed ASAP.
Boma
Boma — over at Animal Kingdom Lodge — is a buffet-style restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Lunch and dinner here serve lots of African and American-inspired items — like pita with dipping sauces, peanut and coconut rice, Durban chicken, tamarind BBQ ribs, and seasonal soups.
Boma also has one of our favorite breakfast spreads property-wide, featuring morning options like Simba waffles, turkey bobotie, omelets, deviled eggs with smoked salmon, scrambled eggs with spinach/feta/and tomato, AND complimentary bottomless POG juice (which stands for Passion fruit, Orange, and Guava juice, if you’re not familiar with that little bit of Disney lingo).
Tambu Lounge
Right next to ‘Ohana, you can pull up a chair at the attached Tambu Lounge, which has a variety of fun drinks on offer like the Lapu Lapu served in a pineapple and the Backscratcher that comes with a LEGIT wooden backscratcher.
Plus, you can order a variety of bites that come straight from the ‘Ohana kitchen, including off-menu items like the Ohana noodles and Ohana Bread Pudding.
Kona Cafe
Kona Cafe got a big makeover not too long ago to modernize it a bit, so now you get to eat in a dining room filled with bright colors, wood accents, tropical details, and natural lighting.
The menu here features items like sushi rolls, poke bowls, bahn mi sandwiches, and if you come here for breakfast, you’ll actually get a pretty unique assortment of stuff beyond your typical bacon and eggs — like the macadamia nut pancakes, tonga toast, and a little something called a Loco Moco (made with eggs, Chorizo Gravy, Hamburger Patty, Rice, and Pico De Gallo).
Capt. Cook’s
Don’t overlook Capt Cook’s quick service here, either! This is one of the more unique quick service restaurants inside the Disney resorts — serving Island Favorites like pan asian noodles, Thai coconut meatballs, pulled pork nachos, and a Hawaiian Flatbread.
If you come here for breakfast, you can get the same sort of Tonga Toast that you can get from Kona Cafe, only CHEAPER, since the version at Capt. Cook’s doesn’t come topped with the same strawberry compote.
Sebastian’s Bistro
The food at Caribbean Beach? Is getting so much better that we’re gonna go ahead and slap Sebastian’s Bistro on this hidden gem list to give that restaurant a pat on the back for “most improved.”
So the vibe in Sebastian’s Bistro is Caribbean, but not OVERLY tropical, if that makes any sense. The colors are mostly neutrals, creams, and whites, with pops of color from the artwork. The menu is prix fixe, so you’ll receive starters, one Taste of the Caribbean entree (of your choice), and the House-made Coconut-Pineapple Bread Pudding for dessert. (Same recipe as the one served over at ‘Ohana)
But get this…Sebastian’s is gonna give you the CHEAPEST prix-fixe dining on property at $39 per adult. All that food for $39? Unfortunately, it’s even hard to find that at the grocery store nowadays.
Banana Cabana
If your whole vibe is “steel drums, palm trees, and mai tais, then Banana Cabana is your place. Since this is a pool bar, you can always walk up and order a tropical drink to go.
Or you can choose to stick around, order a drink, and get some Caribbean-inspired food, like a Cuban sandwich, or the coconut shrimp, or the grilled chicken wings with your choice of topping — either Mango Barbecue, Guava Buffalo, or Jamaican Jerk.
The Surprisingly Affordable
Sure, Disney’s got a reputation for being an expensive vacation getaway, and its recent wave of price hikes sure didn’t help matters any. However, Disney DOES have several quick services that you might find are not only affordable, but pretty stinkin’ tasty, too. In fact, some of these quick services might have comparable prices to what you’d find at your local food joints back home.
Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie
Les Halles Boulangerie Patisserie is a charming little bakery tucked into the back of EPCOT’s France pavilion, serving up items like decadent pastries, fresh sandwiches, cozy soups, and breakfast (or snacktime) quiches. Price ranges (for sandwiches and specialty items specifically) are $6 to $12.
Regal Eagle Smokehouse
Regal Eagle Smokehouse is another fast-casual restaurant inside EPCOT that celebrates the well-known regions of American BBQ while also serving up craft brews on tap. Price ranges between $13 and $19.
Columbia Harbour House
Columbia Harbour House gives you the chance to enjoy New England-inspired surf-and-turf over at Magic Kingdom’s Liberty Square. Prices here range from $11 to $19.
Flame Tree BBQ
Flame Tree BBQ is a popular counter service spot in Animal Kingdom featuring barbecue classics. Prices here are between $12 and $19.
Satu’li Canteen
Satu’li Canteen — also in Animal Kingdom — has customizable bowls and Cheeseburger Pods, along with unique drinks and desserts for lunch and dinner. Prices range from $14 to $19.
ABC Commissary
ABC Commissary in Hollywood Studios is themed as a simple commissary for a production studio, and has a quick service menu featuring entrees with an international flair (like street tacos, Mediterranean salads, and chicken sandwiches). The price range is $11 to $14.
Backlot Express — also in Hollywood Studios — offers classic counter service entrees like burgers, sandwiches, salads, and chicken strips with a side of plastic cheese sauce for $1 more.
This is also where you’ll find the controversial Wookie Oatmeal Cookie Sandwich (and maybe a few other Star Wars-themed desserts and drinks as well). Prices here range from $11 to $16.
Woody’s Lunch Box
Woody’s Lunch Box keeps us in Hollywood Studios for a bit longer! This Toy Story-themed counter service window serves fun twists on American dishes — including a BBQ Brisket Melt, Totchos (AKA: tater tot nachos), and seasonal Lunch Box Tarts. Prices range between $11 and $14.
Earl of Sandwich
Earl of Sandwich brings us over to the Disney Springs shopping district with its variety of reasonably priced hot and cold sandwiches, smoothies, lemonade, and prepared “Grab & Go” items. Prices start at $9 and go to $15.
The Polite Pig
The Polite Pig at Disney Springs features Michelin-recognized Modern Barbecue in a variety of wood-fired smoked and grilled items. Plus, ALL drinks are served on tap. (And a few of the limited-time drinks might even come with a special little rubber animal guy on top!) Price ranges between $18 and $22 (+ a $44 option if you get the Butcher Board that serves 2).
Morimoto Asia Street Food
Morimoto Asia Street Food — also at Disney Springs — gives you the chance to try some of Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto’s Pan-Asian cuisine, similar to what you’ll find featured at the Morimoto Asia Signature Restaurant… just in a quick Counter Service setting instead!
Prices range from $5 to $18.
Date Night
It’s just you and your hunny, celebrating a romantic evening of being in love and being in Disney. Doesn’t get much better, right? If 2026 is the year that you and your partner will be taking that big trip together, here are a few solid restaurant date night options for you to consider, from casual to ultra fancy.
Casual: Splitsville Luxury Lanes
Who says bowling alley food has to be boring? You’ll find Splitsville’s massive multi-story building located within the West Side area of Disney Springs. It’s right next to a few other popular Disney Springs stops like AMC Theaters (so you can keep the date night fun going) and Everglazed Donuts (for an end-of-the-night dessert)!
Splitsville’s menu might best be described as upscale pub grub. Here you’ll find an extensive menu of drinks, including a pineapple Dole whip piña colada, as well as popular dishes to chow down on like burgers, pizza, sushi, and more!
Contrary to what you might initially think, you don’t have to bowl to dine here, and you don’t have to dine to bowl here! You can choose either activity or both. However, it’s important to make sure you know which experiences you’re making a reservation for because both dining and bowling are booked separately.
Less Casual, But Still Relaxed: The Edison
The Edison over at Disney Springs makes you feel like you’ve been transported to a lavish “Industrial Gothic” 1920s power plant with a menu featuring classic American food presented in modern ways.
But really, the Edison is most well-known for its drink options! You can grab an old-timey soda, a non-alcoholic beverage, or a high roller cocktail.
If you REALLY wanna impress your date, you might want to attend one of the many special events that The Edison hosts throughout the year, including their cocktail and mixology classes. You can visit The Edison website to see what might be available during your trip.
Getting Fancier: Le Cellier Steakhouse
To find Le Cellier inside EPCOT, you’ll need to walk through the gardens of the Canada Pavilion until you stumble upon the cave that is, indeed, the keeper of this signature restaurant.
Le Cellier has a really distinct atmosphere, with dark molding and dim lighting to create an intimate and romantic atmosphere — making it a great spot for a special meal out with your significant other.
At the top of the menu, you’ll find a huge selection of appetizers, like Artisan Cheese and Charcuterie Plates, and the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup. But when it comes to entrees, the steakhouse cuts really aim to impress here and don’t feel like you’re just ordering some rinky-dink overcooked steak inside a theme park. Instead, they come out juicy, flavorful, slightly charred on the outside, and cooked JUST the way you requested.
And since this is Canada we’re talking about here, there’s also a selection of Poutines you can order for a more traditional Canadian dining experience.
ULTRA FANCY: Victoria and Albert’s
There’s SO MUCH to talk about when it comes to Victoria & Albert’s — but here’s the quick version (for time’s sake).
This Grand Floridian signature dining experience is truly THE place for the luxurious meal of your dreams. But don’t just take our word for it. This restaurant has actually received the AAA five-diamond rating, along with several other accolades, securing its prestige.
Dinner is served via multiple courses over the course of a few hours. And how your meal plays out will all be determined by which room you book: The Dining Room, The Queen Victoria Room, or the Chef’s Table. Each room has its own menu ranging from 7 to 10 courses and its own prices, starting at $295 per person.
So if you’re REALLY aiming to impress your partner in crime, this is the place to take them to. Just make sure you both pack some nice clothes for dinner, since there is a dress code you’ll have to adhere to while you eat here.
Brunching Around The Disney Springs
It’s like “rocking around the Christmas tree,” but instead of eating a late morning meal inside a theme park’s shopping district. Several of the Disney Springs restaurants have specialty weekend brunch offerings that you might like even MORE than the main entrees available throughout the week.
Raglan Road
Raglan Road has The Rollicking Raglan Brunch served on Saturdays and Sundays — which means you’ll have the option to order from an exclusive brunch section while also getting to see riverdancing/live Irish music up on the main stage while you dine.
On the brunch menu, you’ll find options like pancakes, avocado toast, and eggs Benedict — but they’ll ALL be elevated thanks to unique ingredients that make them way different from your classic IHOP experience. Plus, most of the entrees and apps have funny names that’ll make you giggle on the inside while reading them to yourself.
The Boathouse
The nautical-themed Boathouse restaurant — which is usually known for its signature surf and turf (and Duck Duck Razz cocktail) — has a unique brunch entertainment option from 11 AM to 2 PM on the weekends.
During the Captain’s Sing-a-Long Brunch, you’ll be able to sing along (and request songs for) the dueling piano players as you nosh on exclusive morning options like crabcakes benedict, chorizo breakfast tacos, and the Biscoff cookie waffle.
Not every room has the dueling piano music, but if your room is lacking in the ivory-tickling department, you’ll still have music playing in your dining area that’s lighter and goes along with the boathouse theme.
Homecomin’
Homecomin’ might not have the same live brunch entertainment that Boathouse and Raglan Road offer up, but what it lacks in singing and dancing, it makes up for in limited-time weekend morning munches during the Rise and Shine Brunch.
Brunch options include good ol’ southern specialities such as (but not limited to) fried chicken and donuts, short rib hash, and a heaping of biscuits and gravy plates.

Thank you for this list! I’m going to WDW in March. I’m getting too old to spend 5 days in the parks so I’m going to resort hop for a few days. I’m looking for new places to eat at the various resorts. This will be very helpful!
I have been to many of the restaurants you mentioned. Some are simply bars such as Beak and Barrell GEO-82 and the Perch. At the Perch they have a limited drink menu, they will not even make a simple rum and coke.
Some are very good, but most are just average. Did not even see Narcoosee’s my favorite restaurant on the list.
DFB this was a great article. We have dined at many of the restaurants you mentioned. Some we haven’t tried, but with the information and pictures you provided we may try something new. Going in September can’t wait. See you real soon!!!!! 😊
