Is one of your New Year’s Resolutions to run (or fast walk) in one of Disney’s runDisney races? Whether you’re aiming to do one this year or in 2027, we’ve got great news!
Disney has just announced the remainder of the dates for their Disney World 2026 races, as well as the first few races on the way for 2027 (including virtual races!). If you’re planning to race, we suggest putting these registration dates on your calendar, because once tickets go on sale, it’s very likely they’ll run out fast!
Previously, Disney announced the dates for the following early 2026 runDisney races:
- 2026 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend (January 7th-January 11th)
- 2026 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend (February 26th-March 2nd)
- runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend (April 16th-19th)
However, now we have the rest of the 2026 Disney World race dates, as well as the first few for 2027! We now know the following races will take place on the following dates (excluding virtual races, we’ll get to those in a second!):
- 2026 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend (October 22nd-25th with General Public registration on February 10th)
- 2027 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend (January 6th-10th, 2027 with General Public registration on March 17th)
- 2027 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend (February 25th-March 1st, 2027 with General Public registration on June 2nd)
- 2027 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend (April 15th-18th, 2027 with General Public registration on July 7th)
As for the Virtual Races, Disney has announced these three:
- 2026 runDisney Virtual Series (June 1st-August 31st, 2026)
- 2026 runDisney Virtual Spooktacular (October 1st-31st, 2026)
- 2026 runDisney Virtual 12Ks of Christmas (December 1st-31st, 2026)
We suggest paying VERY close attention to the registration dates for EACH of these races, because runDisney races are known to sell out quick!
