The runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend is taking place from April 16th to the 20th at the Walt Disney World Resort, and we’re getting ready for the big race. Our excitement level for the event just went up after Disney revealed what all of the medals look like, and now we’re going to share them with you!
The race weekend “celebrates iconic Disney duos and the magic that happens when you tackle every mile together.” It’s an amazing event to be a part of, whether you’re running alone, with a group, or your own iconic duo. We’re always so excited to see the themes and characters that will be featured — maybe you’re favorite character is a big part of the race this year!

The 5K is run with Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, you’re favorite cop duo from Zootopia. We love the design of the medal — mostly the way they shaped it as a cop badge.

The 10K race is alongside your pals from the Hundred Acre Woods, Winnie the Pooh and Tigger. The medal has an adorable look! We’d definitely be excited to get this one.

The 10-Miler race is going to be an emotional one with Joy and Sadness. The design of this medal is also very cute, and the colors pop.

If you choose to do all three races for the 19.3 Mile challenge, it’s going to show you a whole new world. The medal features Aladdin on the magic carpet and the Genie coming out of the lamp.

No matter which race you choose, you’ll be rewarded with a vibrant, dynamic duo medal. Also, don’t forget that there will be a gathering for an early morning yoga session at Disney’s Hollywood Studios to round out the race weekend. Make sure to register!
We’ll be keeping up with all the Disney news and updates leading up to race weekend, so make sure to stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog!
