Magic Kingdom has TONS of construction going on, between Villains Land and Piston Peak underway, not to mention Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin reopening in 2026 after their lengthy refurbishments.

That’s far from all, though, because we’ve just gotten confirmation that another attraction will be briefly closing for a refurbishment slightly earlier than expected, and it could mess up your vacation plans.
Disney has announced on their website that, beginning January 4th, 2026, half of Pete’s Silly Sideshow will not be open to guests to experience. Previously, this closure was planned to start January 5th, but now it’s been moved up.

This impacts Meet Daring Disney Pals as Circus Stars at Pete’s Silly Sideshow, which is Goofy and Donald’s side of the meet and greet.

The girls’ side, with Minnie and Daisy, which is called Meet Dashing Disney Pals as Circus Stars at Pete’s Silly Sideshow, will also be unavailable starting January 4th.

Currently, the Disney World calendar for attractions goes out to February 28th, 2026, and there are no times showing for these attractions throughout that whole time. This could mean that it will reopen after this date, or there isn’t a reopening date set at all yet.
Don’t worry, you can still meet Donald, Goofy, Daisy, and Minnie during this closure, but they’ll just be located elsewhere in Storybook Circus!
