Disney World is changing the game for the Disney Dining Plan in 2026, and we don’t want you to get caught off guard!

It’s time to eat!
If you thought your Disney Dining Plan strategy was set in stone, think again. In 2026, Disney World is shaking up which restaurants accept the plan for lunch and dinner, meaning some of your “go-to” spots may no longer be available when you want them most. From Italian favorites to Disney Springs hotspots, here’s everything you need to know so your next trip is delicious and stress-free.
If you’re planning a Disney World vacation in 2026, there’s something important you need to know about the Disney Dining Plan. For years, this convenient meal package has allowed guests staying at Disney World hotels to pre-pay for a combination of meals and snacks during their vacation. Currently, the plan includes one table service meal or buffet, one quick-service meal, one resort refillable mug, and one snack or dessert per person ages 3 and older, per night of your Disney World hotel stay. It’s a popular choice for families looking to simplify dining and budget their meals ahead of time.

For those who have been keeping an eye on the dining scene at Disney World, though, you might not have noticed yet, but Disney World is changing the game for the Dining Plan in 2026, and we don’t want you to get caught off guard! We dug through each of the participating restaurants for the upcoming year’s Disney Dining Plan options on Disney World’s website and noticed several changes that you’ll need to take note of BEFORE you start making your upcoming dining reservations for 2026. Here’s a look at which restaurants are making a sneaky change!
Tutto Italia Ristorante

Tutto Italia
Located in EPCOT, this beloved Italian restaurant currently accepts the Disney Dining Plan for both lunch and dinner. In 2026, however, we’ve noticed the DDP will only be valid for lunch. If you’re someone who prefers dinner here, you may need to make plans for out-of-pocket payment.
Via Napoli

Prosciutto e Melone pizza
Also located in EPCOT and known for its authentic Neapolitan pizzas, Via Napoli currently offers the Disney Dining Plan for both lunch and dinner as well. But we’ve already seen evidence that in 2026, the plan is currently only applicable to dinner, meaning lunch will no longer be included in the Disney Dining Plan.
The Edison

Circuit Board
Over in Disney Springs, you’ll find this industrial-chic restaurant, famous for its entertainment and cocktails. The Edison will also shift its dining plan availability to dinner only in 2026. Lunch will no longer be part of the plan here.
Terralina Crafted Italian

This Italian waterfront eatery (also calling Disney Springs home) will now accept the dining plan for lunch only, instead of both lunch and dinner as it does currently.

While these changes may seem small at first glance, they can make a difference when planning meals around park days and dining reservations. Those who typically rely on the Disney Dining Plan for both lunch and dinner at these locations will need to adjust their plans or budget accordingly. Of course, this is the season when restaurants begin finalizing plans to participate in Disney World’s Disney Dining Plan offerings, so there’s always the chance that these changes could change again before everything’s set for the year.

However, if your favorite mealtime at these restaurants does in fact stay changed going into 2026, we’ve got a few tips for navigating the 2026 Disney Dining Plan changes. Check restaurant availability early — with lunch or dinner availability changing at several restaurants, booking reservations as soon as they open in advance will help secure your best chances to snag your preferred meal. Plan snack and quick-service meals strategically — since the Disney Dining Plan still includes a snack or dessert per night, take advantage of this perk to fill gaps when table service options are limited. And finally, mix and match meal types — while it stings that your preferred meal time might be changing, it’s dining plan compatibility, not all hope is lost.
Several restaurants are known around Disney World for offering near-identical menus for lunch and dinner times, so you can still maximize your plan’s value if you can be flexible on when you’re eating where.

Disney World has long offered an impressive variety of dining experiences, and the Disney Dining Plan continues to be a great way for us to enjoy them without worrying about the cost of each individual meal. By staying on top of the 2026 changes, you can ensure your vacation dining is smooth, enjoyable, and perfectly planned.

Sure, the 2026 Disney Dining Plan is similar to what we’ve come to know and appreciate over the years, but there are a few notable shifts in restaurant offerings for lunch and dinner compatibility. With a little strategic planning, you can still enjoy many of your favorite Disney World restaurants while taking full advantage of the convenience and value the Disney Dining Plan provides.

On my Disney app it still has Tutto Italia as having 2026 Dinner, I even took a screenshot. We do have dinner reservations in January so hopefully I don’t have to look for somewhere else.
