The holiday season in Disney World is special. It’s not only the parks that get in on the holiday spirit. You’ll find Christmas cheer all throughout Disney Springs, as well as at Disney World hotels.
Not only do Disney World hotels put up beautiful trees in their lobbies, but some hotels also put out elaborate gingerbread displays. We’ve already seen the gingerbread castle up at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, but now we’re heading to Disney’s BoardWalk Inn and Disney’s Beach Club Resort to check out their gingerbread displays, which are now up.
Let’s make our way over to Disney’s Beach Club Resort, where the gingerbread carousel has returned. This carousel gets a new theme every year, and this year, the theme is celebrating Beach Club’s 25th anniversary.
We also loved that there was a gingerbread list made up of Cast Members who worked on the carousel this year, and y’all, it takes a LOT of people to put something like this together. Well done!
The carousel horses have “25” on them to celebrate the hotel’s 25th anniversary.
These horses are so pretty, too. So much creativity and artistry went into putting this display together.
The top of the carousel has some pretty details, too, including a gingerbread Mickey.
And if you’re curious as to how many ingredients were used to make the carousel (and how much of each ingredient), be sure to check out the scroll with all the details.
But that’s not the only gingerbread display in the area. Disney’s BoardWalk Inn has put up its gingerbread display, too, and it’s a gingerbread version of BoardWalk Deli. Look at this thing!
You’ll want to make sure you catch all the details, like Mickey and Minnie in the window.
Even the clock on the deli is beautifully rendered. It’s hard to believe this entire thing is edible!
You’ll see some familiar silhouettes in the top windows: it’s Daisy and Donald!
You’ll also find details here with all the ingredients and just how much it took to put this display together. WOW.
Again, all these details are just stunning.
If you want to see these displays yourself, you just need to visit the lobbies of these two hotels during the holiday season. They’re well worth a trip to see!
Stay tuned to DFB for more.
