Did we just find a dupe for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party? Well, maybe not exactly, but we did find a few of the incredible snacks you can grab at Very Merry with that wildly expensive party ticket for much, much cheaper in Animal Kingdom. Hey, we love grabbing free cookies as much as you do, but if we actually think about the $190 we spent to get them, they start to taste a little different.
We headed to Restaurantosaurus to check out some holiday treats, and we’re bringing you all the details. Ready to feel a little merry?
First up, we tried the Frozen Hot Cocoa for $6.49.
Y’all, this was just fantastic. There were tons of whipped cream and even a little bit of mint at the bottom, which we recommend stirring completely into the drink so it isn’t quite as strong. It was creamy and a bit thicker than a regular shake, but the toasted marshmallows really took it to the next level. There was a piece of chocolate bark on top and a little dinosaur bone, too. It was well priced, a true hidden gem, and something we’ll get time and time again.
We tried another Frozen Hot Cocoa during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Peco Bill’s, which was just as delicious. The problem is that the drink is only available during the party, while this one is available all day long, all season long.
Then we had the Sugar Cookie for $4.79.
This is a pretty standard sugar cookie, perfect for the traditionalists in the group. It breaks apart really easily, so bring a napkin or eat it at the table, but the flavors were exactly what you’d expect from your favorite holiday cookie. It was chewy and easy to pull apart, and it’s pretty dang cute, too, with the DinoLand references.
It reminds us of the cookies you can get at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
Finally, we ended with the Gingerbread Cookie for $4.99.
Another cute snack! We thought the gingerbread man on top looked homemade, which reminded us of the holidays back home, and the gingerbread flavor was super fresh. It was easy to eat and pull apart, and definitely one we’d get again.
We also had frosted gingerbread cookies at Mickey’s Very Merry, so we’re glad to get the same flavors at a different location.
Remember, Restaurantosaurus closes on February 1st, 2026, to make way for the new Pueblo Esperanza land, so this is your last Christmas in DinoLand U.S.A. Keep following Disney Food Blog for more!
