When it comes to dining at Disney World, you’ve got a TON of options, especially if you’re over at EPCOT, which is known for tons of delicious restaurants!
We recently stopped by Via Napoli in the Italy Pavilion, which originally opened in 2010, to see how one of our favorite restaurants in the park is holding up, and now we’re bringing you our FULL review. Is it worth a stop on your next trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth? Find out here!
Atmosphere
We love the relaxed vibe of this spot, since it’s located in the back of the pavilion! The decoration inside is gorgeous, but not overwhelming, and it just made us feel like we could take a breath on our busy day.
If you’re seated in the main dining room, you’ll be able to see the giant ovens where they cook the pizzas and other delicious dishes. While it is one of the busiest parts of the restaurant, it’s not too much, so you won’t feel like it’s overly loud or overstimulating.
However, we were seated in the side sunroom, which was even more gorgeous! The sunlight came through the windows and lit up the space easily, and we truly felt at peace! You’ll find regular tables and chairs here, so keep that in mind.
But enough about the restaurant — what’s on the menu here?!
Menu
As this is an Italian restaurant, those are the items you’ll find on the menu! There are six different Antipasti (Small Plates) on the menu, as well as a Cesare and House Salad.
Getting into the main entree options, you’ll find lots of pasta available in many different shapes and sizes, as well as items like Chicken Parmesan and Branzino. There are also two sides available, called Contorni, which are Green Beans and Fingerling Potatoes.
It’s not Via Napoli without the iconic pizza! You’ll find numerous different types of pizza, where you can get an individual size, a large size ideal for a small group to split, or the MASSIVE mezzo metro pizzas for the table.
Want to make your own pizza? Not to worry, you can do that too! There are three different sizes available, as well as lots of different toppings for various prices.
It’s not a meal without dessert, right? Via Napoli is home to seven different desserts, including Tiramisù, Cannolo, and Cheesecake.
There is also a Kids’ Menu available, but remember that this is only available for kids aged 3-9, and table service restaurants are pretty strict about that!
When it comes to the drinks, you’ll find soda, lemonade, Italian Water and Soda, coffee, and milk available, but finding non-alcoholic mocktails won’t really be on the menu here.
However, there are over 12 different cocktails to choose from, so if that’s what you’re looking for, there are tons to choose from.
There are also tons of wines available, so many that you’ll want to ask your server for a list, but if you’re searching for sangria, there are five to choose from.
Is beer more your thing? Not to worry, there are nine different options available for that as well.
Finally, there are also Aperitif Cocktails available, which are often served after dinner, but you can order them whenever you’d like!
And now, onto the main event — the food!
Eats & Drinks
We started by grabbing two different drinks to try out, including the Limoncello Mule for $20. This is Grey Goose L’Orange vodka, limoncello, peach purée, orange juice, pineapple juice, lime juice, and ginger beer. We recently had a Cast Member inside the Italy Pavilion recommend this to us, so we wanted to give it a try, and we understand why it was recommended! Normally, our reporter is adverse to ordering mules because they’re often similar-tasting and are easy to make at home, but this is an exception to that. This is more like a juice cocktail with the peach puree, the orange, the pineapple, and the lime. It was so fruity and delicious, but the ginger beer kept it from being overly sweet, and so it was just an incredible blend of flavors. We would recommend it for BOTH those who enjoy sweet drinks, as well as those who want something milder, and don’t be scared by the ginger!
Our other drink was the Strawberry Housemade Agua Fresca for $8.50, which was incredible! This is a strawberry purée that does not taste sweetened — instead, this is a real strawberry flavor that they mix in a water base, so there was nothing artificially sugary or syrupy about it. The purée was just muddled strawberries from what we could tell, and it was so refreshing and so delicious. We can’t recommend it enough!
For eats, we ordered the Arancini for $15, which is fried risotto balls, fontina cheese, meat ragù. These were well-made! The rice inside reminded us of Rice-A-Roni flavor-wise in the best way, because we really love a cheesy chicken rice. However, our complaint was that there just wasn’t enough of the sausage and cheese filling in these, which made it bland. We’d love to have some more filling in there so it has more flavor than just the rice!
Our other appetizer was the Homemade Focaccia with sides of marinara and Italian extra virgin olive oil and herbs for $8.50, which was extremely delicious with a beautiful quality olive oil for dipping. At first, we thought the olive oil was herbed and fragrant, but then we realized there were pieces of rosemary inside the focaccia itself, which made more sense, and it made us love it even more. The texture of it was bouncy on the inside with a great crust on top, and we think this is a totally underrated bread service in EPCOT — it’s at the top of our favorites list now!
The Tortellini was next for $29, which is stuffed pasta, sautéed pancetta, sweet peas, parmesan cheese cream sauce. This totally surprised us! It was so indulgent, cheesy, and creamy, and it was like an elevated comfort food in the best way. The sharpness of the Parmesan cheese cream sauce cut through the richness of the rest of the meal, which balanced it well.
The sauteed pancetta added a salty meatiness that got all in the sauce, and then the peas were the perfect little bright pop of green. The pasta was perfectly al dente as well, so overall, if you’re a big fan of Tortellini normally, or think you’d be a fan, we can’t recommend this enough!
For our pizza, our first reporter grabbed the Carciofi for $25, which was a white pizza with artichoke, fontina, mozzarella, and truffle oil. While this was good, you’ll have to really like artichokes! As this is a white pizza, meaning it doesn’t have traditional tomato sauce, you’re really just tasting the cheese and artichokes. This did have a beautiful crust that the cheese melded perfectly with, so if you’re willing to get a little adventurous, give it a try!
Our other reporter tried the Vegan Margherita Pizza for $23, and while our reporter knows that the texture of vegan cheese is often atrocious, we still wanted to give it a try. Unfortunately, while the crust was so beyond magical with a fantastic quality, the vegan cheese did indeed have the texture of Elmer’s glue. Ultimately, we scraped off all of the vegan cheese and ate it with just sauce, which is what we feel we’d ask for next time, maybe with some sliced vegetables on top, and we recommend you do the same if you’ve got to eat a vegan diet!
Nosh or Not
This Disney World restaurant is a must-visit if…
- You’re craving pizza served in a gorgeous setting. Via Napoli offers authentic Neapolitan wood-fired pizzas, pasta, and meat dishes that are sure to make any Italian food fiend happy. It’s our favorite pizza in Disney World!
- You’re looking to feed a large group. The Mezzo Metro-sized pizzas are literally a meter long, and can be really cost-effective if you have a larger family or group (who can all agree on the same pizza)!
- You want to dine somewhere with excellent eats that’s still casual. This is one of our favorite restaurants at EPCOT and remains a DFB favorite for a reason. The food, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch and hard to beat.
You should skip this Disney World spot if…
- You’re not looking for pizza or Italian food. In addition to pizza, Via Napoli offers salads, pasta, and small plates — all with an Italian flare. If you’re looking for something a bit more unique, you won’t find it here.
- You want a quiet dining experience. It’s incredibly lively in this restaurant, which can be overstimulating for some. For a quieter vibe, you might want to check out Tutto Italia.
- You want a quick grab-and-go option. If you’re still craving pizza but want something you can eat on your way to the next thing on your list, consider the Via Napoli walk-up window, Pizza al Taglio.”
Overall
We’re a little surprised this isn’t talked about more, to be honest with you! We were really impressed not only by the food, but the service, and all the Cast Members were so incredibly kind. If you’re someone who enjoys Italian food and wants a meal where you can relax for a moment, this is absolutely a spot to add to your bucket list.
In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for more restaurant updates from Disney World and beyond. Make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest Disney news and more!

We ate there in October and while the food was delicious it was freezing in the restaurant (we only had shorts and t-shirts on because the weather was so hot) and we ended up putting our waterproof coats on to keep warm (but they’re just plastic jackets really) so didn’t help much.
