Why Every Disney Fan Will Be Glued to Their Screens on December 1st

The holiday season is in full swing in Disney World! We love seeing all the decorations around the parks and hotels, the special snacks, and the holiday parties and entertainment, of course, but if you’re not able to be in the parks, there’s magic you can experience from home, too!

We always look forward to the Disney holiday specials released digitally each year, and now we know when The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular will be available for everyone to watch! This special is our secret to bringing the magic of Disney holidays home — no matter where you live!

This year, The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular will debut on ABC on December 1st, 2025, at 8 PM ET, and then will be available to stream the next day, December 2nd, on Disney+, Hulu, and Disney YouTube. This year’s event is narrated by none other than Ginnifer Goodwin, the voice of Judy Hopps in the Zootopia films, and will be hosted by Derek Hough from Dancing with the Stars, who will also show off his talents during the show.

We’ll get to see some truly fantastic performances from multiple artists, including Gwen Stefani over at Disneyland, Aloe Blacc, Good Charlotte, Coco Jones, Mariah the Scientist, Nicole Scherzinger, Trisha Yearwood, Bebe Rexha, and Iam Tongi. We’ll get to see them perform all across Disney World, Disneyland, and even Aulani!

That’s not all, though, because we’ll also get a special look at Avatar: Fire and Ash, introduced by the cast of the movie from Pandora – The World of Avatar, a special celebration for Zootopia 2 introduced by Ke Huy Quan (the voice of Gary De’Snake), and a closer look at Zootopia: Better Zoogether! hosted by the voice of Clawhauser, Nate Torrence.
