The 2025 Disney California Adventure Festival of Holidays has officially begun at Disneyland Resort and there are LOTS of things to do. From now through January 7th, 2026, you can devour some tasty eats and drinks, check out unique entertainment, and more. Wondering just what you can eat at A Twist on Tradition booth? Well, we’ve checked it out and now we’re sharing review!

Menu

A Twist on Tradition serves up holiday eats with a twist and this year you’ll find some new and returning items.

New for 2025 is a Holiday Turkey Leg with cranberry sauce. Returning to the Festival is a Beef Brisket Slider with smoked onions and horseradish ketchup on a pretzel roll (this was at Winter Sliderland in 2024).

Drinks with a twist this year are a Salted Caramel Brownie White Russian and a Cranberry Christmas Mule. The Cranberry Christmas Mule was at the Holiday Duets booth in 2024.

Now that we’ve taken a look at the menu, let’s dive into the food itself!

Eats

It’s not the holidays without a turkey leg, right? So, of course, we grabbed the Holiday Turkey Leg with cranberry sauce for $16.75.

It’s literally just a regular turkey leg that you get at the park, but with a side of standard canned cranberry sauce. It’s good cranberry sauce, but you’re essentially paying for a side of cranberry sauce.

Next up, we ordered the Beef Brisket Slider, returning from a different booth. It came with smoked onions and horseradish ketchup on a pretzel roll for $9.50.

This one tastes much better than it looks. It’s a generous portion of brisket, and a perfect amount of onions. It also wasn’t too heavy on the horseradish ketchup. The bun was good, but kind of small for how much filling is in the slider. Overall, a great festival dish!

Drinks

We checked out both drinks at this booth, starting with the returning Cranberry Christmas Mule. This drink is made with gin, elderflower and ginger liqueurs, cherry purée, and cranberry and lime juices topped with a citrus hard seltzer and garnished with a lime wedge gummy candy. Last year, this was on the menu at the Holiday Duets booth, and it was one of our favorite drinks at the Festival. The price this year is $18.50.

Once again, this was a “best of the fest” alcohol drink for us. It was refreshing and mostly sweet with a hint of tartness. The cherry puree was a standout flavor. The ginger and elderberry flavors were very light. It tasted a little bit like Hawaiian Punch. Also, our gummy garnish kept sinking on us.

A new drink for 2025 is the Salted Caramel Brownie White Russian made with vodka, coffee liqueur, oat milk, and cookie butter and chocolate fudge syrups, garnished with salted caramel whipped cream and a brownie for $19.00.

The brownie chunk topper is a very fun garnish. This was a super sweet, heavy drink, but also really tasty. It was almost like a dessert in a cup. The salted caramel whipped cream was really good, and the cookie butter flavor was a standout.

OVERALL

Overall, this booth had some great stuff, especially the holiday drinks! We will definitely be back here, and we highly recommend you try it when you’re at the festival!
