One of the most anticipated parts of the holiday season in Disney World is the debut of the large gingerbread creations at the various Disney World hotels!

While we adore the holiday decorations inside the Disney World parks, we also love hopping around to the different hotels to see what they have on display (spoiler alert: sometimes the decorations are even MORE impressive than the ones inside the parks!). If you look forward to the gingerbread displays just like we do, we’ve got big news — the gingerbread display is now up at Disney’s Contemporary Resort!

We stepped into the Contemporary Resort today and found that the gingerbread display was fully available, and it looked as stunning as always! This is a similar design that we’ve seen in previous years, but it’s still just as beautiful!

You can also meet one of the Contemporary Resort Pastry Chefs on many days this season, often from 11 AM to noon. You’ll get to chat with Noah French, Jonathan Dove, or Magaly Robles.

This gingerbread is truly a work of art, and it took a LOT to make it happen. This is its 14th year on display, and over 40 Cast Members worked together to make it happen! One of our favorite parts about the display is this sign that tells you all about what it took to bring it to life, and it also gives you a hint as to how many Hidden Mickeys you can find (this year it’s 14!).
