We've Got a FIRST LOOK Inside the NEW Pirates Bar on the Disney Destiny

We’re finally aboard the Disney Destiny, and we could not be more excited to show you around as we explore the ship for the first time!

There she is! The Disney Destiny!

There are so many new dining options, meet and greets, theming elements, and more aboard the ship, we’re pleasantly overwhelmed with it all and want to share all those feelings with you. One of the things we’ve been most looking forward to is the new Cask and Cannon Lounge, which is themed to, you guessed it, Pirates of the Caribbean, and we just stepped inside for the first time!

This new bar is “Inspired by the iconic characters and scenes from the beloved Disney Parks attractions around the world, the new pub will be an eclectic yet cozy watering hole furnished with treasures ‘acquired’ (read: pillaged and pilfered) during the pirates’ many voyages around the globe.”

From treasure maps and fishing nets to barrel stools, rum bottles, and skull-and-crossbones insignias, nautical motifs and pirate iconography have been thoughtfully integrated into the design.

You’ll want to look closely to find the many Easter Eggs inspired by the attractions, such as the fact that the pub is covered in wooden planks like a pirate ship, has nautical nods and pirate iconography, and is “outfitted with an eclectic mix of mismatched furniture and antiques.”

In addition, patrons will be able to choose from a litany of exclusive drinks, including the Dead Man’s Chest — a new experience made for two people that will fully immerse you in the theming of the bar. Both drinks are made with Zacapa 23 Solera Rum, Pineapple, Lime Juice, Agave Nectar, and Coconut Froth.
