NEWS: Universal Orlando Pauses Sales for Select Annual Passes

This is the time of year when the parks are HOPPING due to Halloween Horror Nights and the holiday season coming up, but on top of that, they’ve got the excitement of Epic Universe to share with visitors. Fans are coming from all around the world to visit, and Annual Passholders are making good use of their passes (and crossing their fingers that Epic Universe will be included soon!). But now, Universal Orlando has made an interesting change — removing 3-Park Annual Passes from sale and renewal options.

A note has been added to Universal Orlando’s website, saying: “Our 3-Park Annual Passes are temporarily unavailable for purchase or renewal.” The note comes listed on the Annual Pass purchase page, just below notes about Volcano Bay’s operations.

The 3-Park Annual Passes include access to Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay. At this time, Epic Universe is not included in any of the Annual Pass options. This change could possibly be due to the fact that Volcano Bay is seasonally closed on select dates between October 2025 and February 2026.

In addition, Volcano Bay will be closed for maintenance beginning October 26th, 2026, with a current planned reopening on or before March 24th, 2027. That means that Passholders paying for access to the park wouldn’t exactly be able to get their full money’s worth in 2026.

With this change, we’re sure that Annual Passholders and fans are crossing their fingers and hoping for the addition of Epic Universe to Annual Pass access. That could be a good way to bring back the 3-Park Annual Pass in the future, likely with a higher price tag.
