I don’t know about you, but I feel like Disney+ is always on in my house. Whether I’m watching a childhood favorite or discovering a new series, Disney+ has become my go-to for streaming (especially with the Hulu add-on!).
About a year ago, we saw a price increase, and today officially marks the start of another. We’re sharing all the details you need to know before checking your next bill.
Starting with just Disney+, the previous price with ads was $10 a month, and it is now going to $12. For ad-free, the previous price was $16 and is going to $19. That’s about a 20% increase for the option with ads and a little less than 19% for the ad-free version.
For the Hulu and Disney+ bundle, the ad-supported version is going from $11 to $13, and the ad-free version is staying the same at $20. That’s an 18% increase!
Here are a few more price changes with different Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN bundles:
- Hulu (with ads) — $10 to $12
- ESPN Select (with ads) — $12 to $13
- Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN (with ads) — $17 to $20
- Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN (no ads) — $27 to $30
- Hulu with Live TV, Disney+, and ESPN (with ads) — $83 to $90
- Hulu with Live TV, Disney+, and ESPN (no ads) — $96 to $100
- Hulu with Live TV (with ads) — $82 to $89
On the Disney+ support page, it says that Legacy subscribers with Disney+ Premium, Hulu, and ESPN Select bundle will pay $25 instead of $22, and those with the Hulu Plus Live TV legacy plan will have their plan raised from $88 to $95. These plans are not currently available to new customers, and if you’re unsure whether you’ll see a price increase, make sure to check your email to see if your bill will be affected.
With the prices going up, make sure you’re taking advantage of Disney+ perks! These are available to subscribers and include entry to sweepstakes, free membership subscriptions, giveaway items, and more.

You may have Disney Plus on all day in your house but NOT IN MY HOUSE.. I have to make a choice when my subscription expires if it’s worth renewing. My family and I have been Disney Fanatics since 1984. We have visited Disney World 30 times since 1984. Our BEST TRIP to Disney World was in 2019. Up until then there were minimal price increases each year but we didn’t care because we went on ALL THE RIDES each day regardless of the park INCLUDING THE MAGIC KINGDOM. We had FREE FAST PASS WITH THREE RIDES A DAY WELL IN ADVANCE OF ARRIVAL. WE HAD THE WONDERFUL MAGICAL EXPRESS WHICH THE CHILDREN LOVED. We had THE DISABILITY (DAS) which made our trip easier for me because I have a disability. I can go ON AND ON, but I would simply ask and I am sure that millions of other families would ask( DISNEY WHAT HAPPENED AFTER 2019 WITHIN THE COMPANY WHICH GENERATED MASSIVE PRICE INCREASES ON EVERYTHING AND MASSIVE ELIMINATION OF PERKS THAT WERE IN AFFECT FOR YEARS AND WIDELY APPRECIATED. I will ask these questions on behalf of my family and millions of other families. WHAT CAUSED THE GREED AND DISRESPECT DISNEY?
To Ron, after Covid Disney fired Happy Dwarf and replaced him with Greedy Dwarf. Thank the Bob’s. It’s all about the MONEY now.
