I was devastated when Muppets Courtyard closed down in Hollywood Studios at Disney World, but as a huge Monsters, Inc. fan, I can look past the Muppets moving to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and look forward to entering the world of Monsters, Inc.
There’s a new exhibit in Walt Disney Presents that showcases the new models of the Monsters, Inc. land. Big news, folks: we don’t have to call it Monsters, Inc. land anymore.
We’ve been keeping up with all the details on Monsters, Inc. land since it was announced in 2024, but Disney has been switching back and forth in calling it “Monsters, Inc. land” and “Monstropolis.” When it was originally announced, it was just called Monsters, Inc. land.

We feel the same kind of relief we did when the new Cars-themed land coming to Magic Kingdom officially got its name of Piston Peak and …

Coming Coming to Frontierland at Magic Kingdom, a new area themed to Pixar Animation Studios’ “Cars” will leave Radiator Springs and head to the wilderness with two new attractions including an off-road race.
…when the Tropical Americas land in Animal Kingdom got the name Pueblo Esperanza. We love having proper names to call everything!
We still don’t have names for restaurants, the show, and the hanging door roller coaster, but we sure are excited for it to be moving along. We know they’re hard at work tearing down Muppets Courtyard and welcoming in the monsters, and we can’t wait for more details to be announced.
Make sure you keep following Disney Food Blog for more updates on new lands and attractions coming to Disney Parks.
