Disney World is SO busy with construction right now, with new lands, expansions and updated rides on the way.
Of course, the new lands and expansions are probably the most interesting of the new additions coming to Disney World, and if you want to get an up-close look at several of these, you’ll want to head to Walt Disney Presents in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. That’s because Walt Disney Presents now has 3D models of Pueblo Esperanza, Monstropolis, and Piston Peak! We’re about to spend our WHOLE day analyzing these 3D models, because, you know, Disney Adults. Anyway, let’s see what’s new!
We stopped by Walt Disney Presents today to get a look at the new models. Now, this is the best close-up view you can get of these three new areas coming to Disney World, so we highly recommend checking these models out. There’s a display detailing the new Cars-themed expansion coming to Magic Kingdom, Piston Peak.
The display also has 3D models of Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater, so it looks like we’ll be seeing them in Piston Peak.
Another display shows off Monstropolis, coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and hmm, does that confirm the official name for the new land? We’ll have to wait and see!
This display features 3D models of Mike and Sulley. We can’t wait to meet ’em in their new land!
However, the most impressive model is the 3D model of the entire new Tropical Americas-themed land, Pueblo Esperanza, coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Now, we previously saw this model (and it looks like the same one) in 2024 at D23, but now ANYONE visiting Hollywood Studios can see it.
We got a really good first look at the Casita, the house owned by the Madrigal Family from Encanto. It appears the structure behind it is a building, and possibly part of the ride…and it’s HUGE.
One thing we love about Animal Kingdom, in general, is that there is a lot of shade, and this land will be no different. There are trees everywhere.
Here’s a close-up of the entrance to Pueblo Esperanza…
We know that there’s going to be a massive restaurant here, so is this group of buildings that, possibly, with some shops, too?
The land will also bring a brand new Indiana Jones ride to Disney World. Here’s the temple you’ll enter to access the ride.
We can’t tell you how cool it is to get a closer look at some of the projects that are happening in Disney World right now. If you get a chance to see this exhibit, we highly recommend you pop into Walt Disney Presents to check it out.
Stay tuned to DFB for more.

Not really impressed. Does not make me want to go visit as soon as it opens, whenever. The Indy ride, kind of been there done that. I hope that they can do better than just mimicking what already exists. Imagineers used to thing out of the box, cutting edge, awe inspiring and beyond imagination. Lately…not so much.
I’m so excited for these new projects! I’m really looking forward to the suspended coaster in Monstropolis
I love that some of the residents of Tiny Train Town are visiting Pueblo Esperanza. 😉
