Scholastic and Disney are teaming up to give away a Disney World vacation, and you still have time to enter.

The “Scholastic Stories are Magic Sweepstakes” will offer one lucky educator and one lucky parent or guardian the opportunity to win a Disney World vacation for themselves and up to three guests. In addition, the winner will receive a set of Disney books — because who doesn’t love a good Disney story?! Wanna know how to win? DUH. Come with us to break it all down.
The contest opened on August 11th, and the giveaway will run through 11:59 PM EST on November 2nd. That gives you plenty of time to enter to win!

Now for the good stuff. What can you WIN?! The full prize includes:
- Four round-trip coach airfare tickets for the prize winner, their child in Grade PreK through 8, and two additional guests
- Round-trip ground transportation service for four between Orlando International Airport and Disney World
- Four nights’ room accommodations for four, consisting of one standard room at a Disney World hotel to be selected by Disney
- Four standard 5-Day Walt Disney World theme park tickets with the Park Hopper option for each ticket, with an expiration date of November 2nd, 2026
- A $200 Disney Gift Card
- A set of approximately 30 grade-level-appropriate Disney books from Scholastic

WOW — now that is a sweet prize. In fact, the total value of the prize is…*drumroll*…$8,816.56.
As usual, there are several rules for the contest, including:
- No purchase necessary
- Open to legal U.S. residents age 18+ who are currently a parent or legal guardian of a Pre-K through 8th grade child in US schools, or educators working in a licensed US preschool, elementary school, or middle school
- A winner will be chosen at random on or around November 14th, 2025, and will be contacted via email

In remembrance of our daughter we loss due being stillborn. She would be in kindergarten and her brother would have loved to go to Disney with her and we love to support the Scholastic bookfair!
